Driving down to Mickey's for Christmas!

Anytime! I learned from someone too!

I have starring rolls on there because of you telling me how good they are earlier in the PTR! I am excited to try them! Also, I feel a little bit better listening to my friend because your a Disney vet and are saying it will be alright!

I think you mean regarding switching to cs dp? right? I think that works for a lot of people so that they have more flexibility. For me, I like to have the "we will have to be here at this time" plans or my family would never leave the room. :rotfl: At least this way they go to the parks and such to eat. Plus, we do like the food better at the ts restaurants (in general.. but there are some exceptions like WGPE and starring rolls and even CHH is up there in likes) All this being said, if I knew that my budget would only allow for cs or if I knew my time would have to be more flexible, I wouldn't hesitate to just do cs.

Honestly I am most excited about the world showcase foods! I love ethnic food and trying new things!

We actually just got done with a family movie night! During the week seems to be best for them for us! We don't have any pictures because I still have not received the go ahead from DH to get the new camera! But we watched The haunted Mansion!
For dinner we had "ghostly green enchiladas" (just enchiladas made with tomatillo salsa instead of tomato salsa) and some slices of cantelope. I did decorate a bit with some prints outs from disneyfamily.com of the hitchhiking ghosts and had Damien find them and I had Damien make a bookmark (since that little guy is doing so well in reading he was moved up to the level G group which are easy chapter books:banana:) from the website as well. For dessert we had tombstone brownies and milk! It was nice because I didn't plan on doing one tonight it's just that during the day I felt a little better and wanted to cook! The recipe for the enchiladas was a new one from a book I have been reading called hungry monkey and they were really good and simple and they even gave me the recipe for "cowboy beans" which is a healthier and lighter version of baked beans! Damien loves all of the movie nights but especially the ones that I surprise him with! I like that movie and am excited about that ride too!

For our very first park day we are going to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios, they are saying the the crowd level is going to be 2 out of 10 so I am hoping that it's fairly accurate! The park will be open from 9am-8pm no EMH. These are a rough draft just to see what people think of them... I compiled a little from touring plans, ridemax and the passporter book that we bought! Please let me know what you think about them and if they are pretty good or anything that we should switch or ones that are not that much of a big deal with a 7 YO boy-I already made sure that he is tall enough for all of the rides we have planned!

~Getting to the park entrance around 8 am for a 9 am gate opening. For breakfast we are just going to grab something that I have brought from home (like a cliff bar and fruit or something).

~Tinseltown Talent Show-watch the opening show - I am a little confused about this though it states that it's on Hollywood Blvd. if Hollywood Blvd the street that you are on when you walk in?

~Toy Story Mania!- We are just going to grab a fast pass right now for later.

~Rock 'n' Roller Coaster- We will ride this now.

~The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror- if it is time that we can get another fast pass I would like to get another one for later on that night, if we can't we will just come back if we like it enough to!

~Toy Story mania- now we are going to ride!

~The Great Movie Ride

~Phineas and Ferb are a must for this because my son really likes them so I am hoping that they are out at this time!

~Studio Backlot Tour-Take the Studio Backlot Tour

~At this time we are going to grab a bit to eat at the Backlot Express.

~Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure- let Damien explore the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground while we finish eating and taking a quick break (maybe 20 minutes for playing?)

~Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show- See the Lights! Motors! Action! Stunt Show

~Streets of America- I am excited to tour the Streets of America

~Muppet*Vision 3-D- See Muppet*Vision 3-D

~We are going to grab a fast pass for Star Tours while running over to the Pixar parade (we may miss the first little bit of it, but that's okay as long as we see a little)

~ If it's time for our Star Tours: The Adventures Continue fast pass we are going to go on here, if not we are going to come back again later!

~Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza-View bronze busts of Hollywood personalities.

~Walt Disney: One Man's Dream-See One Man's Dream

~The Magic of Disney Animation-Take the Magic of Disney Animation Tour

~Animation Academy- I am very excited to also learn how to draw Disney characters.

~We should be able to go back to Star tours at this time, if we have to wait a little while we will grab a quick snack from starring rolls!

~Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!-See the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular

~Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage- See Beauty and the Beast

~If we have any time left we will wonder around looking for some stuff to do and enjoy the atmosphere! Maybe try to get on TOT again?

~Fantasmic!- We are going to grab a CS meal to eat while waiting in line for this-I am planning on getting here around 5pm to wait for the 6:30pm showing. I am not sure from where we are going to grab a bite from yet, maybe whatever we pass? Then enjoy Fantasmic!

~To end the night we are going to wonder through the Osborne lights for a little. I would like to be back at the hotel by 9pm, but if we don't get back until 10pm it's okay- any later than that and I'm not sure that I would be able to get K and Monk up in the morning!

~Tinseltown Talent Show-watch the opening show - I am a little confused about this though it states that it's on Hollywood Blvd. if Hollywood Blvd the street that you are on when you walk in? If it is the theatrics that I believe it is...I believe this is the little street show...so yes, it takes place ON Hollywood BLVD.

~Toy Story Mania!- We are just going to grab a fast pass right now for later.Fast passes run out early and even if you get there before they run out your return time might not be for very much later in the day. I would suggest doing this RIGHT as the park opens and not stopping to watch the show...or better yet you or you dh run and get the fps while the other two of you watch the show

~Rock 'n' Roller Coaster- We will ride this now. I hear this is fun... too scary for me ;)

~The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror- if it is time that we can get another fast pass I would like to get another one for later on that night, if we can't we will just come back if we like it enough to! If you figure out how to plan the times of your fast passes let me know... but to me (and granted I am a bit oblivious) it seems to be rather unpredictable..other than as they run out the return times get later.

~Toy Story mania- now we are going to ride! :woohoo:

~The Great Movie RideI love this ride!

~Phineas and Ferb are a must for this because my son really likes them so I am hoping that they are out at this time! This is definitely one thing I would love ridemax to be able to predict too... I want times and locations of characters. Phineas and Ferb are a must for us too!!!

~Studio Backlot Tour-Take the Studio Backlot TourAwesome

~At this time we are going to grab a bit to eat at the Backlot Express.
I forgot about Backlot Express again...it is a pretty good cs choice...:thumbsup2
~Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure- let Damien explore the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground while we finish eating and taking a quick break (maybe 20 minutes for playing?)Not knowing how he handles leaving playgrounds, I am not sure I can say if 20 minutes is good or not. I know that sounds about right for dd..and she btw, loves this playground

~Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show- See the Lights! Motors! Action! Stunt Showthe guys are gonna love this

~Streets of America- I am excited to tour the Streets of AmericaThis is really cool and also won't take up much time so a nice thing to fit in.

~Muppet*Vision 3-D- See Muppet*Vision 3-D
I too am looking forward to this

~We are going to grab a fast pass for Star Tours while running over to the Pixar parade (we may miss the first little bit of it, but that's okay as long as we see a little)
It is about here that I am beginning to wonder if you will have enough time. Did you run it through ridemax? With low crowds it might be doable, but those shows..LMA, BATB..etc. None of them are short. This is the biggest trouble I have with DHS. There is not a LOT to do, but a lot that takes up quite a bit of time.

Really we aren't that big on breakfast so this will work well for us and we will have the mugs for hot water and instant coffee packs for coffee!
So maybe I will take your advice and just head over to TSM instead of seeing the show... and then get over to RNR or TOT? How does this work? Would I be able to hold a spot for DH in line if he ran over himself? I know that at the parkswe go to here you can't do that...
Damien loves that show and honestly so do I- it's a good show and it's not really bad! So he'd be excited to see them!
As for the park- I might save that later in the day then because he does like parks and when he gets on it might be harder to get him off- so maybe if we finish later in the day we can go on there?
I think that your right.... this is a little of what ridemax told me and a little I took from touring plans, plus what I have read on my own from others. I think that we are going to skip a few things in the beginning and if we have time to do them later in the day we will (like the animation tour-but we will go to the animation studio, one man's dream, rock n roller coaster and the Arts and science hall of fame- they were really for DH, but maybe I will let him go on his own while we watch the parade)
I am pretty sure that we will have to exclude things here then.... any suggestions? Thank you for giving me advice Ann! I really appreciate it!

No problem :goodvibes

As for "holding place in line" We are talking to RNRC or TOT, right? I think at that first thing in the morning you won't be looking at a long line for either. I would either slowly walk there and send your dh to run and get the TSM fast passes or quickly all go together to get the fast passes before walking together to one of those rides. Holding a spot isn't necessarily out of the question, but it also isn't necessarily a for sure. I definitely wouldn't have him fight his way up a line to get to you. If you were just a few groups in...then maybe..but not if you were to the front.

Damien loves that show and honestly so do I- it's a good show and it's not really bad! So he'd be excited to see them!

Are we talking the Tinsel Town show? I don't think the crowd that gathers around them is ever really that large so even if you went to TSM first you should still be able to catch the performance... plus I think they move up and down Hollywood blvd.

This is going to be our fist day in Epcot (we are devoting 2 days to it- one for FW and one for WS). This will be the day that is devoted to WS and really there is nothing to plan but these are basically what we are going to do. I really wanted this day like this because the day before was our first Disney day and it was a lot to fit in so I wanted to take a break so to say! The crowd levels will be at 2.4 out of 10 for today.
We are going to eat something that I have brought once more (a cliff bar and fruit or prepackaged oatmeal) and we have to be at the pirate dock by 8:30 am for Damien's pirate cruise! While he is finding adventure DH and I are going to wonder around the hotel and shops and such! We pick him up at 11 am and then we are going to head over to the WS!
We should arrive around 11:30 the lastest and just go from there! We are going to start at Mexico and work our way around. I plan on us eating a little something from each country (weather it be a meal, snack or just a candy that we will share). And just making our way around the WS in order. I am going to let Damien stop for the Kidcot stops and if we have time I want to complete a Kim Possible tour or 2!
We will of course end at the Canadian side. I doubt that we will have time to go on anything in FW. All 3 of us like looking and learning about different cultures so I am sure that Damien won't get bored especially because there are things for him to do along the way! But just in case that's why I also have this section of our trip scehduled in the beginning of our trip (so that he's not overly tired and complaining)!
Illuminatons starts at 9:30 that night so we are going to watch and be amazed (if we can make it that long, if not we will head back to the hotel and sleep early since we have one more chance to see it at the end of our trip)!
That will conclude our WS day! Again I want to be back at the hotel before 10:30pm though so that we can get up for....... AK the next day!

No:)I mean the Phineas and Ferb is a not miss for us! He loves them! I think that I am going to skip the performance, I thought that it might be an opening show like MK has...

Your day one in epcot is our day one too! Only we are going to be doing mainly FW. Then as you already noted...our day two in epcot is also your day two!! :woohoo:

I think your plan sounds awesome! I think you are going to have so much fun strolling through WS. Last trip we did the eat around the world... it was so much fun to taste something...no matter how small in each country. I have to say though...in china DO NOT get the apple cinnamon egg roll. It was kinda yucky. Or at least mine was. France is hard cause they have such yummy pastries and sandwiches not to mention crepes and grandmarnier slushies.... but if you are looking for a tid bit... go into the shop and get a piece of the hard candy. It has a gooey chewy inside. :cloud9: So yummy. I plan to buy more to bring home after this trip.

No:)I mean the Phineas and Ferb is a not miss for us! He loves them! I think that I am going to skip the performance, I thought that it might be an opening show like MK has...
Ah yes!!! That show is amazing. I will have to see them too. As for the opening show...yeah I think that they actually did away with a ceremony. Anyone else know??? But those street performers are fun to watch as you walk by.

Today AK will have EMH in the morning so we will get to the park by 7am for opening at 8am to a 5pm closing! The crowd levels are at 2 out of 10 for today! Again we will be eating from the hotel room!

I will keep the apple cinnimon egg roll in mind as a NOT:thumbsup2Thank you! The candy from france sounds good! I really like caramel so I am looking forward to Germany!

My husband likes the Beatles- it's to bad that they got rid of the cover band! He loves any music though so I am sure that he will want to stay and watch performers and Damien will want to run for kid cots and different toys and I will enjoy the scenery!

Things have been a little crazy here and I keep kidding myself that as this time comes things will get easier:confused3- Well it's like a tease!
Emily is doing really good! She just got her very first round of shots and we started her on frontline and hartguard! We were told that by the teeth grownth she is about 12 weeks so we come back in 3 weeks for more shots and then we can get her spayed/neutered-whatever they do to girls! She can sit, give paw, lay down and goes outside to use the bathroom! Someone... not going to tell you who *caugh DH caugh* has gotten her into the habbit of sleeping with us instead of in her kennel! So we are trying to break her of that and chewing on Damien! These are about 2 weeks old that a friend took- since this she has gained about 6 pounds and Damien has cut his hair!

emilywithleaf.jpg

This I just love! A friend took it of Damien jumping into the sun!
monkeyinsun.jpg

A Damien update- he took his first spelling test last Monday and he got 110 since he did the bonus sentence right! He got a hair cut like I said! Boy scouts he has already earned 2 badges and in soccer he has been getting more into the fact of kicking the ball! On a bad note his soccer coach (a god friend of mine) has been kinda keeping him out still- she swaps with him and another boy, then there are kids that are never taken out (and NO I'm not being prejudice I know that they haven't)! But Damien is not complaining so on the advice of everyone here I have kept my mouth shut! And the teacher is telling me that his diet is no longer doing anything for him in school and she wants us to consider medicine for him again, but I have heard from a few moms about the parties that they have in the class and he's not supposed to have red food dye which can cause him to act up for a few days after eating/drinking it!
Onto Damien's party... people are RSVPing and I found a great deal on a cotton candy machine so I bought it! I am making a wallet for the kids to decorate when they come and inside will be play money to buy food and a "license" that I have made each child with their picture (see below without the picture though)! I cleaned off the sunroom and am going to lay down some drop clothes under a rug for them to sit on (I told them to bring a blanket/sleeping bag/pillow also) and I have made the signs! DH gave me the go ahead to buy the camera so I am going to have it to take pictures before the party!
blanklicense.png

And lastly Disney! I have most of the shirt designs printed- I just have to buy shirts to put them on. I have bought a ton of little gifts for Damien to get on the way down and up that I have to wrap up for him! And Disney is fully paid off! :woohoo::cheer2:YAY:yay::banana:
But this week we have a lot to get through-- 2 birthday parties, 2 Halloween parties, a play date at an adventure park and next Monday (not tomorrow) I have to have all 7 pumpkins carved out to bring to Damien's school for their fall harvest party! :scared1:

I don't want to be cranky so I know this will have to be an early bed day to revive for the rest of the trip!
What and awesome day! I added some comments in the body of the quote.

This I just love! A friend took it of Damien jumping into the sun!

:scared1:

What great pictures!! Your little pup is so darn cute.

And... the bday party sounds like it is going to be so amazing. You are very creative!!!

I don't know now that Primal Whirl will be closed now that you say that..... It didn't tell me that! I hear that Gi-Tar Dan is a man that plays guitar and makes songs about those that pay him a little attention! He's in Camp minnie Mickey or between the camp and Lion King I'm not sure-- you can youtube him though! He sounds good and my husband is big on guitars! Yes we have to find Divine- it's part of a little hunt that I am giving Damien to do! The Tam Tam's of Congo are an african american playing group with instruments and such! They play the real affrican music in Harambe area! You tube them too! They sound good, not a real ride, but I wanted to see/hear the little things too! You know I am not sure what Mor thiam is... I am going to take a look that's another little thing that they had us looking for! Maybe I will take that one off! Thank you! I hope that I get to do this stuff or some of it! By the way, I am not sure if you knew, but if you go to the Disney page and click animal kingdom and then calender and December then click onthe day your going to animal kingdom and it will tell you when the flights of wonder happens and the lion king happens! I am not sure if you knew that's why I am telling you!
Thank you! I hope that he has a good party! Although he may only have 4-5 friends there!

In all the times I have went, I never knew there were performers like that in AK...oh wait... when waiting for our ADR at Tusker, we did see what I assume was the Tam Tams! They were one of my favorite "street" performing groups I have seen in WDW.

Thanks for all the tips! I am always amazed at how there always seems to be more for me to learn about WDW!

WOW...my head is spinning trying to catch up. My what a little planner you have been in the last week...guess Ann's recommendation of Ridemax has gotten us all in a flurry!

Damion's party is going to be so much fun...I like how it is shaping up to be more simple with really cool touches...want to ship me some cotton candy!

I am sorry about the soccer...I wish I could help. I am such a believer of this age about everyone playing regardless of winning. Goo is wanting to do the fall indoor league...just when I thought things were quieting down some!

Yeah I don't want to rush through everything so I took a hunt from someone and these things are on there to look for! Anytime with the tips! You have been amazing to all of us and your tips!

:lmao:I know I see Ann's TR and I get nervous that I haven't planned enough or anything like that! But I didn't only use ridemax! I used a few things that I found places and combined them! I am hoping that works!
Thank you! I am hoping that it's nice and simple! I don't like those big over the top parties! And he's not that great with loud and crowds (hence my worry with Disney!), so a small group of friends will be best for him! I just got the cotton candy machine and I need to test it out! If you want some I'll send it! :rotfl2:Not sure how it's going to turn out though because the directions sound difficult!
That's okay with the soccer, I guess that I have to play it by ear--- Damien is very passive and I thought that son was too until I saw them in school today and questioned it. And I heard from other class moms about the way the boy acts when I'm not around! So I am questioning the friendship which is sad because Damien says "We are best friends so he doesn't mean to be mean!" I don't think that my little Monkey understands! :sad2: But for your little one, if you can do it I say Go GOO!!!

:rotfl2:

I don't mean to make you nervous...;)

Don't worry...I am an OVER planner...way over...do you want to know what I worked on tonight???
:ssst: a packing list

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

You are just NOW doing this...:confused3 I did that ages ago, I am now trying to make sure everything is color coordinated EACH DAY (so we have great photopass pictures)!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
