Advice as far as....?

Whaddo you want advice on? What to take? What to do to occupy you? Umm...?

Advice on what to do to occupy my time in the car. 17 hours of things to do would be great. :thumbsup2

1) Sleep
2) DVD Player?
3) Read? (Do you get carsick?)
4) License Plate Game
5) Look at people driving by and make up stories about them (that usually ends up being pretty funny)
6) Keep a journal of bizzarre street names, exits, etc.
7) Listen to music
8) Talk to fam

Hope those help!!!

If you want more, let me know!

We drove down last summer and are doing so again this summer. It took us 17 hours and it really wasn't that bad! I tried watching someDisney movies on my portable DVD player, but it put me to sleep :rotfl: I wound up listening to my MP3 player a LOT, and taking notes of when we hit each state and funny exit names and stuff. The time flew by, and it actually seemed like a shorter drive than when we go upstate or to Jersey! I think that had to do with the excitement and taking in all the new sites, but it wasn't bad at all. Have fun!

COOL! We do the same things! I've never driven all the way to Disney, but I've done a 12 hour Virginia drive...

;) Seriously, my 14yo enjoys laptop computer (doubling as a DVD player), books, portable CD player, and a deck of cards.

Only 7 hour South Carolina drive.. :teeth: I agree with Ash.

I have not driven to WDW, but my longest car trip was 5 hours to Virgina. I didnt have an iPod or portable DVD player then, so I slept.. and it was pretty boring.... Have fun tho :sunny:

Here is just what I would bring:

MP3 Player
CD Player (in case your MP3 player runs out of battery life...)
CD's
2 new books
---

And then I would sleep. Alot.

I would read trhe whole trip!!!, If I didn't get car sick.. :furious:

if ya live in bear creek its not 17 hours to drive there...trust me....i live about 30 minutes away and it takes us at least 19 hours to get there......

but i suggest...
1. bring a book if ya can read in the car
2. laptop if ya have one
3. one of those portable video players
4. an iPod or such
5. a pillow and blanket
and what ever else ya have to keep ya "sane" if ya know what i mean...lol
