Driving Down to Cali/Disneyland from Ottawa

Yes we are nuts

Hi everyone I haven’t been on in a while but the Disney bug has hit again. this time Disneyland

Our plan is to take 3 weeks’ vacation.

Drive to San Francisco,
then down to Universal Studios,
then Disneyland of course,
then up to Vegas,
then back home.

Looking for any information or tips to save and or sights to see (Disney or otherwise)

Anything I should know, or has anyone done a trip like this in the past who may have some good suggestions

I have driven the coast highway from Vancouver to San Diego and it was beautiful. We stopped in Oregan, San Fran, LA, did Disney, Universal, Hollywood, San Diego (zoo,legoland, beach) and then headed home. Wish we had spend more than a day in San Fran as there was lots to see there.

I'm envious--we don't do car trips! All I can offer is the comment that, in spite of all the marketing, Las Vegas is not a family-friendly place. There are people on the main drag handing out what I am going to call "adult entertainment flyers" to pedestrians. Enough said.
