driving down from NC

we plan on driving down from the charlotte area and staying on-site (probably an all star resort). how is the bus transportation from there to the parks? is there any reason/time we should drive ourselves to a park?

Many other factors would come into play. For us, only the MK is off limits for driving, b/c of the extra transpo steps involved to get to the park entrance. Weather can be a factor as well, i.e. it's pouring rain or expected to do so. We may drive to the other parks if we're going to be leaving around closing time (buses get crowded), and when we are going to be leaving the park and going elsewhere, like DTD, rather than straight back to the room.

awesome...thanks! (especially for the directions!) i was thinking of using our car for convenience sake...being able to leave/return to the park at our leisure...going to DTD when we want. i had heard about the craziness of parking at MK. Thanks for your input.
