Driving directions - MCO to Florida Mall

Hi folks

Looking for tips on how to get out of the airport (picking car up from Budget) and want to head straight for Panera at Florida Mall!!

Anyone able to offer any advice on the best way to go?

If I remember correctly,if you head out on the normal road (417?) towards WDW & I-Drive,the Florida Mall is on your Right hand side just after the aerial water ski place.

Take the North Exit from the airport and you'll pick up 528 West as you exit. Florida Mall is about 6-8 miles on the right (Junction 2 I think). It is signposted at the junction

Is it just Panera Bread you're interested in? What's your final destination? There are several outlets in the area.

We're heading to AKL..........but thought maybe a stop at the Wal Mart at Florida Mall might be good as well.

Are there any other locations for Panera??

If you're going to stop off at the Florida Mall, you need to head north out of the airport (assuming you're talking about MCO) and take the 528 Beachline Expressway west, exiting at Sand Lake Road and continuing to head west. The Mall will be on your left just before you hit the Orange Blossom Trail. You'll then need to head south on the Orange Blossom Trail, picking up the 528 again until it hits the I-4 and taking that until you reach the Osceola Parkway. That seems like a real palaver to me after a transatlantic flight.

My preference would be the Panera Bread at The Loop. From the airport, head south/west on the 417 Central Florida Greeneway and exit at John Young Parkway. The Loop is just a couple of miles south on the junction of JYP and the Osceola Parkway. Before you get there, literally just off the 417, you'll pass a Publix. Or, exit the 417 a junction earlier at the Orange Blossom Trail, again heading south, and almost immediately there's a SuperTarget. After picking up provisions there, simply take Town Center Boulevard heading west until you hit the JYP and continue to The Loop as before. Afterwards, you simply need to take the Osceola Parkway west until you hit AKL.

There are also Paneras on the approach road to Premium Outlets, at Restaurant Row on Sand Lake Road and at the Mall at Millenia, but they're not the best options between the airport and AKL.
