Driving Birmingham to WDW-How Long?

Driving to WDW from Birmingham (through Atlanta, but on a weekend). How long will it take? Thanks!

Don't know from experience but Mapquest says about 9 hours. Hopefully someone with experience will respond!

Thanks! I did see that on Mapquest. Just had a hard time believing it and hope someone from that area can chime in to verify the time it took them.

It has been a few years but we left from B'ham and went down toward Dothan then into Florida rather than going through Atlanta traffic. I think it took us about 10 - 11 hours if I recall correctly, but we did stop for a leisurely lunch on the way.

Thanks! That seems more in line with what I was expecting. We wouldn't be planning on going the Atlanta route either except it will be on the weekend!
