so any Florida residence know where i can start reading up on this stuff online?

No, not online but if you go to the Highway Patrol Office they will give you a book to read with all the information in it. It's free.

Normally, people won't pass the test on their first try.

getting my parents too get it for me that's the hard part. Maybe my neighbor Dani still has hers she just got her normal licence

Mind you, I'm in New York, but I found that the time I spent reading the manual was time wasted. I didn't get any wrong and honestly felt that almost all of it was common sense stuff. I'd read it over before the license testing but I think it's a waste, at least to drill it in, at this point.

Umm all they have to do is go down to the Highway Patrol Office. It's not that hard...



hidmickey, I agree. But I was also in Drivers Ed. I don't think it did that much help.

I read that lil handbook front to back twice, studied up on everything, granted if you're getting your permit for a year, you dont need to study up much before drivers ed starts. I studied for two nights [it was also summer school, very fast paced] and All the stuff I really studied, the more complicated stuff wasn't on there, it was all common sense and the road signs.

I wouldn't worry yet if you still have a year to go, but thats me personally, I don't know the rules and regulations of your state, which may be diferent.
