Drivers Licence check

I am leaving for WDW on a plane on FRIDAY.

I just went to the store to get the kids Sudafed today and they carded me.

I then realised that I had lost my licence. Its gone, missing, vanished.

I will be able to get a new one tomorrow after about 4 hrs at the DMV but can you imagine if I didn't stop in the store today

My whole trip could have been ruined because they never would have let me on a plane at Newark without my ID. I'm still a little nauseous but hopefull I can get it all done tomorrow.

If it makes you feel any better, I lost my drivers license while on vacation! Actually, I think I lost it after passing through security here in Chicago, but didn't realize it until we were at the grocery stop just outside WDW. I wound up calling TSA, then my airline to find out what I could do. It turned out I had to present myself to the ticket agent (DH and our girls came with, DH had his wallet out with our family picture ready to show them to prove we were a family). It helped that I had a round trip plane ticket, and had already flown one leg of the trip. I had to go through the additional screening/wanding. This was the day before hurricane Charley hit Florida, so there were a number of people changing their flights, which caused them to get additional screening too, so it was a busy place. The TSA agent was really nice, but the trip - even at Disney - was less magical than usual, cuz I was stressing so much!

I guess a lesson to be learned here, is to keep a close eye on those Drivers Licenses!! Hope you have a wonderful trip!

On our first trip to disney several years ago. We drove down and were checking in and dh didnt have his license, he called the last place he knew he used it and it was there. Luckily he had a state id card with him. But we always make sure atleast with him.

Luckily I was able to get a neighbor to get the kids on the bus so I could get to the DMV 1st thing this AM. I was # 10 on line and for $10 they handed me a duplicate.

I leave in a few days and am now all
