Drive to MK or BUS?!

We are doing our first Disney trip with our 3 & 4 year old daughters in 4 weeks!!! I'm nervous about making the most of our two days there! We are only staying at AOA for one night and doing MK for two days before going to Sanibel island. We are renting a car and I'm not sure what the best option for getting to and from MK from AOA??!

Should we drive and park? If so, where? Or, should we take the bus! Open to any suggestions!

We like to drive and take the monorail. I know everyone claims the bus is faster. We have tried the bus several times while others drove. Car has always been the fastest for me

If an EMH morning I would make sure you could use monorail from TTC as some have said day guests were held closer to day park opening. have only done bus on EMH mornings

Anyone else find this reply confusing.


Anyway I would take the car. Since you have little one more that likely you will want to go back to your resort during the day and a car is faster.

We did an experiment once. I took the bus and hubby to the car back to the resort. And hubby waited 35 minutes for me to get back to the resort!

We prefer driving, especially if arriving early enough to not need the tram. We alternate between boat and monorail depending on weather. I like the boat ride over if it is a nice warm morning.
