can anyone tell me how long it takes to drive (in ur own car) from a resort to the parks or park to park????

Not sure about actual drive times, but this site gives you the lengths for bus, boat, & monorail. I'd assume you could use the bus figures as a ballpark

The Unofficial Guide has a page or 2 that lists the drive times for many combinations of resort/park trips. Not sure if you can look it up online -- allearsnet.com may also have something.

Edit to add: Personally, between Epcot and MGM you can take a boat, and between MK and Epcot you can Monorail, so it can be pretty convenient. Remember parking for MK is a boat or monorail ride from the park anyway.

You can pretty much get anywhere on property in your personal car in less than 15 minutes. The longest one would be AK to MK or reverse, which is no more than ten. Epcot to MK is 5, Studios to MK is between 5 and 10. Sure beats the bus if you are in a hurry.

Drive times are usually cut in half of the bus rides. Some of the buses make multipule stops. Thats not where you save the big time. The time you save is in the waiting and packed on the buses like sardenes. It's not so bad at the beginning of the day but at the end of the day you and the kids will want to sit down the odds of that are slim to none if you take the bus and sometimes after closing you have to catch the 3rd or 4th bud. Car for me all the time.
