Drive time from Cocoa Beach to MCO

We're spending the last week of March at WDW, followed by a few days at Cocoa Beach. Our flight home, on Sunday morning, April 2, leaves MCO at 9:00 am. How long will it take us to drive from Cocoa Beach to the Orlando airport? I am getting a little nervous about making that morning flight.

I would set aside an hour for the drive, to be on the safe side (it should be less than that). You will want to get to MCO two hours prior to your flight, so I suggest leaving no later than 6:00 AM.

Thanks. I was planning for an hour's drive time, so that's good. I wasn't planning on 2 hours at the airport, but I guess with returning a rental car and passing through airport security, that's probably a good idea.
