Drive from Studios to Epcot

I know this is a little obsessive since they're so close, but it's my first time driving at WDW and I have two Q's about driving from MGM to Epcot.

1. Leaving JUST AS Fantasmic ends, how long should it take to drive to Epcot?

2. The Disney Property Map shows the Studios Main Entrance (south) and a North Entrance to the Studios parking lot. Is the North exit useable, and is it the faster way to go?

The longest part of this trip will be getting to your car after Fantasmic ends, and then to the exit! All vehicles exit from the north entrance, regardless of how you arrived. Get in the left lanes as you exit, and turn left on Buena Vista Drive. Move to the right lane and take the ramp to World Drive north (sign indicates Epcot and MK). Once on World Drive, the next exit is for Epcot and leads straight into the toll plaza. Driving time should be less than ten minutes depending on traffic.
