Drinks and app at CG = Fireworks Viewing???

I understand that if you have brunch or an earlier dinner at CG you are allowed to return to the observation deck for HEA viewing. My wife and I will be dropping the kids off at Pixar PlayZone around 5 and we’re thinking of getting drinks and an app at the bar before a date night at Epcot. Would we be entitled to watch the fireworks at the CG later or do you have to have a full meal?

Yep you will have no issues at all. I've seen reports of people who just had a drink and could return later. And as I'm sure you know the lounge can get busy so definitely head up there soon after dropping the kiddos off.

As long as you have your receipt, you should have no problem reentering for fireworks.
