Drinking out of a coconut

Ok...this is going to sound a bit crazy, but my 5 year old has DREAMED about drinking some type of beverage (milk, soda, what ever) out of a coconut. We're going to stay at Royal pacific and we will be at Universal Studios, IOA and city walk. We will also visit the other universal hotels...

WHERE IN UNIVERSAL STUDIOS AREA CAN MY DAUGHTER DRINK OUT OF A COCONUT?????? PLEASE!!!!!! She's talked about it for like the last year! I need her 'dream' to come true!!!

We're doing the luau at RP- do they have coconuts (actual coconuts) there???

I'm sorry I can't really answer your main questions, but maybe I have an idea...you can get coconuts at a grocery store down there I would assume, so maybe you can pack one in a bag you take with you or something and when you go somewhere to eat or something, you can take it out without her seeing. Now, I know it would be a problem to actually get an opening in it to drink out of, but I was suggesting the idea...I'm not an engineer! I share your daughter's dream though!! I always wanted to drink out of a coconut. You may want to call Margaritaville or something...seems like something they would do...either in the restaurant or the Lone Palm... good luck!

Actually, I may be wrong but I don't think I've ever seen coconuts at the grocery stores here. I don't like coconuts, so thats why I'm not sure

Really? Wow, that suprises me if that's the case...we have them all the way up here in the frozen tundra called Buffalo, NY!

I know that some grocery stores carry them in FL, (they do in most larger cities)...we are just thinking if they sold a drink with one at a restaurant/bar/snack place it's going to be much easier...they are a lot of work to open (especially in a hotel setting and not having the right tools)

I have been to every bar in Universal. Haven't seen a coconut drink. You can get one at At Atlantis in the Bahamas though!

I don't know about Universal, I haven't seen a coconut drink there, but the Polynesian at Disney has them. . . Make sure you order it without alcohol, it is brutal (but good, if you are old enough!!)

Yep ... that was at Margaritaville ... we got one too

Unfortunately I don't recall seeing it on the menu the last few trips we've been down
