Drinking on the monorail...

I read a thread a while back about drinking on the monorail. We arrive Sun. 10/1 and aren't going to be doing a park, we're traveling sans kids. So, we'd like to visit some of the nicer bars at WDW. Does anyone have any suggestions. We're doing CG @ 8pm for dinner and then heading over to PI and doing the Adventurers Club. But we'd like to get a coctail at a couple of places , it doesn't HAVE to be off the monorail, I just thought it would be easier to then get over to the CR.

thanks

Tambu Lounge in Poly has some great drinks in a great atmosphere. Try a Lapu Lapu.

Mizners Lounge is a great setting for a relaxing evening.

The Outer Rim lounge in Contemporary has a great view of the lagoon, and some fun drinks. Try one the Monorail drinks.

I think I heard that The Adventurers Club is closed. I'm so disappointed about this.

Where did you see that? They just refurbed the bar about a week and a half ago. My friends were there on Saturday.

I don't think the AC is closed. There were rumors to that effect floating around for a couple months due to the changes going on at PI but its not closed. Not now. And not in the near future anyway.

I just read this too, can't remember which board, but I read it about a day ago. I was disappointed, we're planning on going for the First time in October. Do you have any helpful hints on how do to the AC right.

thanks

Well, a couple of drinks is a good start. :) And be sure to check out at least one show in each of the rooms while you're there.

Have a good time.

I agree with Tambu and Outer Rim. They are very much WDW originals. :earsboy:
