Drinking around the monorail

Can't recommend the lounge at the Wave enough. It has a great bar area, relaxing ambiance in the soothing blue lounge area (you'll see what I mean about the blue-ness when you walk in there), and knowledable and friendly bartenders. It's also rarely crowded, which is nice after a day elbowing through the crowds at the parks.

It has almost become a must for us to stop in there for a drink when we're in the Magic Kingdom area. Since you're going to be at Bay Lake, it's just a quick walk across the bridge and down a couple of escalators for you. Id recommend it as a starting and/or ending point for you, since it's on the way.

The California Grill bar is nice, too, but it can be a hassle to get up there depending on how busy it is. The Wave is the way to go, in my opinion.

Pure Heaven, it is an awesome drink!!

I totally agree - plus I still have a great backscratcher :goodvibes That was our favorite part of the monorail crawl  Looking forward to doing it again in a couple of months!

I will have to check on the closing times. We will probably not begin our crawl until 9pm. Now I need to decide between Mizners Magic Star drink or going to Narcoose's. Also I was thinking Outer Rim or California Grill, but now I am throwing the Wave bar in the mix. Still have lots of research to do. The Lapu Lapu at Poly Resort is the only thing set in stone.

I like the bar at The Wave in the Contemporary. It's dark and has great furniture and VERY generous pours in the drinks. It reminds me of a VIP bar!

We loved the Wave bar last year. I can't recommend it enough, except that I'm worried once the secret is out, it'll be too packed. ;)
