I'm taking two of my best girlfriends to BCV for Food & Wine this October - and we want to check out several of the bars and lounges around Crescent Lake. That is if we don't spend all our time at La Cava del Tequila! ;)

I've collected a list of the lounges/pool bars/restaurant bars at BW, YC, BC, and Swolfin - I'd love any input on which ones are your favorites, and if you can actually just go in to some of the restaurants and have a drink at the bar. :drinking1

- Martha’s Vinyard (BC)
- Hurricane Hannah’s (YC/BC)
- Crew’s Cup Lounge (YC)
- Ale & Compass Lounge (YC)
- Atlantic Dance Hall (BW)
- Belle Vue Lounge (BW)
- ESPN Club (BW)
- Jellyrolls (BW)
- Leaping Horse Libations (BW)
- Big River Grille & Brewing Works (BW)
- Flying Fish Café (BW)
- Cabana Bar & Beach Club (D)
- Lobby Court Lounge (D)
- Shula’s Lounge (D)
- Todd English’s bluezoo Lounge (D)
- Kimono’s Lounge (S)
- Il Mulino New York Trattoria (S)
- Splash Grill (S)

We're all city girls and they looked at me funny when I said Epcot closes at 9PM - I better have a plan for nighttime activities! party:

I like the bar at the Dolphin that is upstairs from bluezoo; it's just a bar/lounge, not attached to a restuarant.

I also like the Crew Cup because they have high backed booths that provide some privacy but it can sometimes be crowded if the seating at the Yachtsman Steakhouse (next door) gets behind.

Thanks for your reply! :goodvibes

I wonder if the upstairs bar is the lobby bar? I dined at bluezoo this past May and absolutely loved it! I was hoping to take that opportunity to do a bit more exploring (i.e. bar hopping in the name of research!) for this trip, but I spent too much time enjoying my dinner!

I'm definitely putting Crew's Cup on our to-do list - I love the photos I've seen. And since we opted for Flying Fish for dinner instead of Yachtsman one night, it will give us the chance to take a peek around the area!

Anyone else tried some of the area lounges? :)

Bump! :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to Drinking Around Crescent Lake! :upsidedow

Anyone have more input?

TIA!!! :flower3:

My girlfriend and I love Jellyrolls. You can easily spend hours drinking and singing the night away. There is a $10 cover charge to get in. If you want a table try to get there by about 9. Bring a few spare bucks for tips/requests.

Crew's Cup is our favorite...and Big River Grille is fine - go for a table outside and quaff a few brews.

And Bluezoo Lounge is great if your looking for appetizers and drinks (clam flatbread is amazing)

Don't forget that at every booth at the F&W festival there is one or more selections of wine/cocktails. So, if you combine those drinks along with drinks you are having at the lounges :rotfl2:..... well, you get my drift! I have seen lots of people discussing how many booths they have hit at F&W for the drinks and how many they have left to go. Some even have check-off cards. Hope you make it back to your room every night. ;)

I think we all might really like Jellyrolls! Do you know how late they are open? If we arrive after 9PM, is it harder to get in?

Crew's Cup and bluezoo lounge are quickly becoming must-dos for us!

(How did I miss the clam flatbread when I ate there this May? :headache:)

Yes! I hope we make it back to our room, too! :lmao:

We're doing F&W just one day/night (I have AP but girlfriends are just getting 2-day non-park hoppers) and it's a night Epcot is open until 12AM! :scared1:

The other nights we're having dinner at Flying Fish and then walking around the BoardWalk, dinner at Jiko then Downtown Disney (and maybe then BW), and dinner at California Grill and maybe BW area again. Those nights should be a little more low-key.

I do like the checklist idea... :rolleyes1

Thanks for all the recommendations! :goodvibes

They are open until I think 2AM (we were able to get a bus directly to our stop at POR after, which was a nice bonus). I think we got there at about 8:30 and had no wait to get. There were a few tables available till about 9:45. After that it filled up pretty quick (my best guess is that thats about how long it would take people to get there after IllumiNations ends). Make sure you think of some good songs for them. They will play any kind of music from Billy Joel and Elton John to Garth Brooks to Beasty Boys to Lady Gaga.

The Cabana Bar & Grill is wonderful. We spend every afternoon there. The fruit infused Mojitos are divine. But, I don't know how late it's open. I think it closes around 10. Same for Splash at the Swan.

We have been to BlueZoo Lounge many times - love the ZooBerry Martini & the Crab Nachos. We have also been to Il Mulino Lounge for drinks & munchies (the TestaRossa is delish). We also like the bar at Flying Fish, we have had drinks & noshes there as well. If they have Chef Mike's Lemongrass Martini, try that. It's yummy, but it was a special the night I had them. Oh & Kimonos is fun too - they start Karaoke around 9. If you get hungry while you are there, the sushi is the best in WDW.

JellyRolls is a blast. Last time I went with a bunch of girlfriends - we got there just about 9 & got some seats along the counter on the upper level - but we were so busy singing & dancing along that half the time, we didn't bother with the seats. :dance3: :drinking1

I told one of my girlfriends about this place - she can't wait to go! :cool1:

The menu at Cabana sounds sooo good - I might have to have an excuse to eat there!

I loved eating at bluezoo - that place is so cool looking inside! And Il Mulino is somewhere I'd love to try for dinner - but I think we might try cocktails & appies first.

Karaoke at Kimonos... now that could be a lot of fun! :rolleyes1

Thanks for all the suggestions! :goodvibes

Only thing I would add to above is the ESPN CLUB. October is a busy sports time with both college and NFL football, as well as the baseball playoffs. Big crowds.

Hope you get to see Scotty and Ray at Jellyrolls. Scotty does a great Kermit:

ESPN is fun if you want to watch a game, for sure. Last year, we had a great time there for a football game & a couple brews.

Our first full day we might go to ESPN for lunch - I'm really looking forward to it! My two girlfriends are big baseball fans.

Two things...

1. The lobby bar at the BSF (big stone fish) is fabulous. It's one of my favorites.

2. I'm ashamed to say that I've only spent time at BSF, but plan on changing that sometime soon, and I think drinking around Crescent Lake should rank right up there with drinking around the world and drinking around the monorail.

1. BSF - love it! Never heard that before! :lmao:

2. I agree. But with 18+ potential watering holes, it could get a little out of control! :yay:

Speaking of "Drinking Around Crescent Lake", are there any places in the BW/BC/YC/Swan/Dolphin area where you can sit down outside and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening? Most of the lounges appear to be indoors ... any have a patio?

Drinks at any of the resorts are fully portable! :cool1: You can walk all around Crescent Lake with your alcoholic goodies. There are plenty of places to sit & enjoy your beverages. The benches along the Boardwalk are wonderful to sit & sip at.

I think Big River Grille has some outdoor seating.

I wish some of the pool bars were open later - it would be lovely to sit by the pool! Anyone know what time they close?

Great idea! I'm all about drinks in "to-go" cups! :goodvibes

For some reason, I think the Cabana is open til 10:00 when we go in Oct (our usual time to go) They may stay open later for a special game. Likewise, they sometimes close early if they are booked for a private event.
