Here is a dumb question. I visited the Coronado Springs resort like 3 years or so ago. I bought one of the big refillable mugs. I still have it. I recall being told I could bring it back anytime for future stays to get refills? Is that true? And to any resort? I think it says Coronado Springs on it. No big deal if I can't but I figured I still have it so if I can, why not!

sorry but the policy about the mugs say clearly, only for use during the lenght of your stay and in the resort where you have adquired it, and now the design of the mugs have changed they are all the same for all the resorts, good luck with your trip and have a magical vacation

Not true for CSR. We were there three weeks ago and they did not change their mugs. You can still use old mugs there.

Can is the key word. You are not supposed to reuse mugs on upcoming trips, but many people do. They are only good for the trip and location you bought the mug.

Each mug sold over the past 3 or more years has it printed right on there that that mug is good for refills only during the length of that stay.

Whether or not you choose to follow the rules is up to you. There are no "Mug Police" and no one will stop you. I will keep my stupid opinion out of it, as I don't want to start a debate.

But the rule itself (for any mug bought over the past few years) is quite clear, as clear as the printing on the mug itself.

No worries. I am not going to bring it if it isn't useful for discounted refills. And I am not a cheater :) For some reason it stuck in my head that you could in fact use it on future trips. I will definitely be buying those again for the family though as I remember it being very worthwhile.

I did take a look at the cup and it is from the Pepper Market. It doesn't say anywhere on the cup about only being good for one trip. It doesn't say anything other than Pepper Market and the bottom has the Whirley Company information.

We aren't staying at the CSR anyway this time. I'll just buy new cups. They are nice to have around.

The Pepper Market at CSR isn't run by Disney. Unless there has been a recent change the mugs aren't the same as other resorts and the mugs don't have the verbiage limiting refills to your present stay. The sign lists where you can refill the mug but doesn't specify during your current stay.

Eric--In this case the rule isn't clear, although common sense would suggest free refills for life isn't the intent.
