There is no difference... during the time of slavery that was a law... now stealing a coke is also against the law... a law is a law. If you had actually read the original comment I was rather clear in stating that in the 1800's when slavery was legal you must also accept that during that time frame a good many people saw nothing wrong with slavery... And it isn't a rule against taking soda.. its called theft and its a law they are breaking.
yes but one of those laws infringes a persons rights/freedoms, even if they didn't (legally)have them at the time. Now, if you fill up a popcorn tub with coke because you are about to pass out from dehydration, then you'd have a point; But I think the OP is complaining about people taking soda because they are greedy, BIG DIFFERENCE.

Anyone paying for anything at the House of Mouse is paying to offset the freeloaders! I say if you can't or won't pay for it, STAY HOME! A person is not "owed" a vacation at WDW, its there if you can afford to pay for it....what ever part that is. If the part you can afford is a day trip, so be it. If its a value resort, but breakfast from a cooler, fine. GF with V&A Chef's table, more power to ya! I can't believe the attitude of "what's it to you"....contrary to popular belief no-one is an island and what we do has consequences for those around us. In this instance, the cost factor + the lovely example being set of what polite society is...I'll bet the same people who are stealing from the drink machine probably don't care about littering at the park or cussing loudly with other people's kids around. Tactless, classless and just plain selfish!
