Drink around the world

yum! i based those choices off of another thread of good epcot drinks, but i dont remember anyone mentioning the strongbow cider. and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the celtic bands they have. Did I mention that I LOVE celtic bands. yes i do!

If you LOVE celtic bands as much as I do, you HAVE to check out the Glengarry Bhoys!! They are, BY FAR, the best Celtic rock band I've ever heard! :woohoo:

I can't wait to try one of the Grey Goose Slushies when I'm there, I've heard so many good things about them! I might just have to go make me a drink right now, I wish Disney had an alcohol delivery service!

I am all about celtic punk, flogging molly, dropkick murphys, the undertones, etc. Im seeing flogging molly in april and i CANT WAIT!! but ill check that band out! :rockband:

I know everyone has been raving about them! I've only had the margarita and the welsh dragon. I am very excited to get tipsy in disney world. :cool1:

FM and DM are 2 of my fave bands!! The Glengarry Bhoys are like a slightly more talented Off Kilter, who is the house band at the Canadian Pavilion!

I see a celtic band while I was there last year I wonder if it was them?? this just makes disney even more awesome lol

hahaha we were discussing the celtic band that plays in canada briefly. BACK TO DRINKS THEN! teehee:rotfl: A welsh dragon is a delish concoction of Peach schnapps, Melon liqueur, créme de Menthe, Orange Juice, and Pineapple Juice

I noticed that you are planning to stop at the Margarita stand in Mexico ... I would strongly suggest you skip that and go inside the temple to visit the Tequila Cave. They serve much better drinks there and you can request a 'to-go' cup if you want to wander the showcase while you drink.

When the margarita stand was the only place in Mexico to get a drink it was moderately acceptable for a drink, but now ... blech! They serve pre-mixed, sugar-laden, frozen swill. Go inside and get a margarita made with real tequila by a bartender.

EDITED TO ADD: I don't know if anyone answered your question about Akershus but they do not have a bar and you cannot get a drink there unless you have a reservation for a meal. We know from experience. ;-)

awesome!!! i was hoping someone would answer that. I heard from a source that you can get absinthe there, but I was pretty sure it was a table service only. It's quite alright, I have more than enough drinks to get silly lol. Thanks for the advice, I will definitely be going to the tequila bar instead!

Watch out for doing this on a hot day. Your next day may be a little challenging!

Lots of water required!

Oh I have prepared a list of places and drinks to visit!

1. Margarita Kiosk – Mexico
2. Cantoloopy – China [Joy of Tea Stand]
3. Peach Bellini – Italy OR Limoncello – Italy [Tutto Italia]
4. Saketini – Japan
5. Sultan’s Coolata – Morocco, Tangerine Daiquiri – Morocco, Habibi Daiquiri – Morocco, Moroccorita – Morocco [Moroccan Kiosk]
6. Grey Goose Slushie – France OR Grand Marnier (orange slushy) – France [Les Vins des Chefs de France]
7. Welsh Dragon – England [Rose and Crown Pub]

Of course I would have more places to visit, except I'm not looking to spend 150 dollars on drinks hahaha!

Disney menus with prices are posted but I've yet to find prices of mixed drinks and beer. Does anyone have any insight into the pricing?

Allears.net lists every menu and even the kiosk pricing. Most of those drinks range between 7-11 dollars.

I'm so glad to see someone give the Grand Marnier slushy some love, too. I am a fan of orange flavor, so I just loved it!! I feel badly for it every time someone goes on and on about that Grey Goose one. Kind of like a little brother that gets ignored or something...;)

Oh I have heard great things about both, so I can't pass it up! I might just have to pit stop there and try both!!!:goodvibes

Ditto...I prefer it over the Grey Goose slushy any day. DH disagrees...good thing they have both options to please every drinker!!
