Got an email from Drexel Heritage furniture today - they have a new line of furniture inspired by Walt Disney.

I am sure there will be many who love the furniture--I was hoping it would be styles from the different resorts. Maybe down the road.

It looks like they're trying to model it after what Walt's office looked like in the 50's and 60's. I myself think of it more along the lines of what was popular back then, not so much Disney. I had to laugh when I saw the price for the chair that resembled the one Walt used to use behind his desk. They are asking $700 dollars for just an office style chair!

It's pretty cool looking but nothing that shouts Disney, but it is part of the era of the Disney studios.

A lot of people don't realize that Walt had two offices and the one of them was like what the public to saw when he would appear on tv in his specials for the Wonderfull World of Disney, all fancy and cool looking. The other one is where he would work and wasn't nothing but a cluttered space full of his ideas, dreams, paperwork, and etc. I learned that from reading a couple of books on his life and from the Disney history family website on his life.
