I saw this article and thought I would share it. For those of you familiar with Rosenhaus' tactics, I am surprised he didn't demand more money from the child's parents before performing CPR. And my question is why would he perform CPR and not the Disney Lifeguards? I would think that they would take control of the situation :confused3

Clipped from: the msnbc.com / AP story 7/19/05

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - NFL player agent Drew Rosenhaus performed CPR to save a young boy pulled unconscious from a swimming pool at a Disney World resort hotel Tuesday.

The Chicago boy was on a trip with his family. He was transported to a hospital but was expected to be fine, said Cpl. Carlos Torres of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

"Rosenhaus brought him back," Torres said.

Rosenhaus, whose hardball negotiating tactics have made him perhaps the league's most notorious agent, said he was at the Grand Floridian to visit clients and ran to help when he heard screaming after the boy was pulled from the pool.

"I dropped my phone, which is pretty rare," joked Rosenhaus, who worked as a lifeguard as a youngster. "I was thrilled to help the boy. It was nice to be a good guy for once.".

:rotfl2: I agree, he was on the local Philly news saying how the Eagles should see him as a good person now and this should help his negotiations.

But seriously, where were the parents or the lifeguards. Just another reason to make sure you watch your really watch your kids. It is tough sometimes, I have three all at different levels, being 11, 6 and 3, even at the local swim club it is so hard to keep my eye on them. So please watch you little ones.

When I heard this story this morning, I figured it wa a Disney pool. They said a Florida theme park.

Glad the little boy is ok. I wondered as well, where were the lifeguards. Maybe it was before or after lifeguard hours.

GF has a pool without a slide - I can't remember if there are any lifeguards there or not, but I think there are not.

And of course, after the slide closes - the lifeguards leave.

Kudos to him for being a good citizen. Hope the boy is doing well now.

I think it's great he was able to save the boy!

Too bad he couldn't save T.O. from aggravating all the Eagles fans!
Imagins, not being able to live on $5 million a year! :confused3

I can't remember there being lifeguards at the GF pools.

Do you suppose he will settle for 10%?
