Drew Carry to host classic gameshow.

So I know this is all old news... Drew Carry is replacing Bob Barker on the classic game show "The Price is Right".

IMHO Drew Carry is not a suitable replacement. The show has a "back in the day" 70's kinda feel. It's classy, kinda cheesy... DC just won't fit it. And are all the people supposed to have on "We love you Drew" shirts?

What do you guys think?

I wish Bob wasn't leaving.

He was a great host. I loved that show.
I heard Rosie O'donnel(sp) was going to host it once and I was hoping it wasn't true. I don't think she should either.
I don't know a good host but not DC.
I'll still watch it and see what the show is like though.

Drew's great, but he doesn't "fit in" with the atmosphere.

Yeah I heard about Rose O'Donell as well. Now that's just scary.

Lately, since I've been waking up earlier I've been watching TPIR when it came on. So classic. So 70-ish. Just I don't know...it's not gonna be the same.

How the heck is DC gonna make room for TPIR with his new show out? "The Power of 10".

Drew Carrey is a much better fit then Rosie Scarey Big Mouth O'Donnell. But you are right it is not the right fit for that type of show. Drew Carrey's type of show is Who's Line Is It Anyway. I think they should of got someone older than Drew to replace Bob Barker.

This could be really good, or really bad.

They need to update the show with Bob leaving. Drew Carey could work, but like I said, they'd need to make changes. However, TPIR has a feel. A look. Changing it might push away the long time audiance.

It has always been my opinion that the show should have gone down with Bob. However, I think that of all the replacements that they were considering, Drew was the best. I am a Drew Carry fan and don't foresee him doing terribly with the show...eventhough he already hurt himself...

...oh, and The Power of 10 rocks. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

But now I'll ask my mom if I'm pouring her something to drink or getting food or anything and I'll start pouring the drink she'll walk over and say "That's too much Bob!"

And I think Bob looks pretty darn good for 84? years old.

I love Drew I just don't think he has the right...I don't know...I guess I don't think he's the right person for the job.
