Dressing up for CRT

This October will be our first time to eat at CRT. We will be there for 8:30am reservations. I know that, especially for breakfast, most of the little girls are dressed up in costumes. Well, my children are DD10 and DS 5. I got my DD a cute punk Snow White costume to wear but I'm kind of stumped on what to get for my son. He is really, really excited to eat in the castle also so I want to make it just as special for him as for my DD. Do boys even dress up for it and if so what do they wear?

You'll have so much fun! We've done it where our girls have worn their "full princess gear" on down to where they just wore some nice shorts and a pretty shirt. Just depended on the trip and their mood. Our boys just wore nice polo shirts and shorts.

Could he dress as a prince of some type?

I don't know... I just remember wishing while Beauty and the Beast was still on Broadway that just one time I could see a little boy dressed up as Beast - either as beast or prince - to balance out all the little girls dressed up as Belle.

I think it would be adorable to let him dress up.

have only eaten there for dinner, twice. There were lots of girls dressed up, but don't recall seeing any little boys in a costume of any kind the first time we ate there (was in May 2007)

...except when we went just before a MNSSHP in Sept 2009. Then there were a couple of boys in costume for the Halloween Party, but nothing to do with Disney-specific princes. Maybe a pirate. Their whole family was dressed up for the party.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think that I will just have him a shirt made with a cute "prince" saying on it. Not sure of what yet, though.

I have seen the boys dress up as pirates..they used to give magic wands to girls and swords to boys when they do the special wish ceremony during the meal.
