Dressing up for Cindy's breakfast?

How many little girls dress up for this breakfast? Is it a pain to carry the costumes around the rest of the day? What do you usually do. (sorry for so many questions! LOL)

Your girls are beautiful. I've been meaning to tell you that whenever I see your posts.

I've been wondering this too. I'm thinking about putting my DD in her costume then changing her back to comfy clothes after. Our PS is at 8:20am on a EMH day so we would be going straight to BF first thing.

If you can carefully store it-- you can probably put it in a locker so you don't have to lug it around all day. The little girl's really seem to enjoy doing this-- it's their own bit of being a princess too.

alot of the little princesses wear thier outfits all day but I would recommend a locker to stash it in for the rest of the day.

DD, then 5, did this on our first trip in a sparkly gown made by grandmother. She gots TONS of attention. Many other girls were dressed up, the oldest looked to be about 10. She wanted out of the dress after breakfast, though, so we carted it around the rest of the morning (in a bag) until we headed back to the WL a couple of hours later. If we were going to be there longer, I'd have gotten a locker.

The second trip, she didn't want to go to the trouble. She wore a princess tee and didn't get quite the lavished attention, but she was also two years older and didn't mind it.

We did the PSB this past summer. My girls (5 & 2) wore matching Jumpers from the Disney Store - with princesses on the front. With their jumpers they wore tiaras, rather than a whole costume. They felt very special and it was a nice alternative to having to change clothes or carry them around.

My niece dresses up for the Cindy breakfast. She actually wore it over her clothes and then we put it in a mickey bag in the stroller afterwards. It was fine and didn't get damaged or anything. And most of the little girls were dressed up in some type of outfit. It was really cute.

Definitely dress them up. It's a treat for the rest of the guests as well!

My niece did not dress up, but we saw lots of other little girls who did. I think a lot of the little girls just kept their dresses on after the breakfast. However, we were there in Jan., so the heat and humidity were not factors. The little girl who played Lumiere in the Belle's story hour that we watched was in a Cindy dress and she was just a doll.

My DD6 always wears a princess costume. So far she has worn Aurora and Cinderella and Belle. She is planning to be Ariel this year, so I guess maybe she will wear one to Cindy's and one to PSB.

She loves dressing up. I let her wear it as long as she wants to, then we change clothes and either put it in a locker, or in a bag, but this year, no stroller (at least that is the plan ), so probably a locker. Last year was easy, we stayed at the WL and went back after she was done "princessing" and we changed clothes!

Have fun, all the girls really seem to enjoy themselves while they are there! My DS18 enjoyed himself at the Cindy breakfast a couple years ago, too !

I'd recommend dressing up. The princess your little princess is dressed like will be especially attentive. It's lots of fun for the little ones.

My niece chose the Jasmine costume to wear to PSB. It was perfect, because it was just pants and a top. She wore it all day. We went in May and the day was a little drizzelie, which meant she didn't get to hot and sticky. The shoes were actually slippers, fabric not plastic and they were great too, except that the rain made mud which got them a little dirty.

Just a note...DD6 wears ballet slippers (usually white) as shoes with her princess costumes. They are comfortable, and relatively inexpensive and look pretty with the dresses!

Your girls have got to be the prettiest I have ever seen (and that is coming from the mom of a 4 y/o whom I think is beautiful!) I even had to show the picture to my DH and he said the same thing. Get those girls a modeling contract, they are darling!!!!!

Love the ballet slipper idea! My girls dress up a few times while in Disney, particularly for the character meals. They usually leave their outfits on because they enjoy them so much. Now I'm trying to come up with a few ideas for their brother who is 2 1/2!

Holly Joy, while everyone is commenting I amy as well add, that picture of your daughters is really great. They really are beautiful. The photo is very striking.

My girl was still in a stroller, so we just rolled up the dress neatly and put it in the stroller basket.

She wore it for a couple hours after the breakfast before changing though-- did a few rides in Fantasyland wearing it. Got some great pictures!

Holly, your going in December so I would have your girls wear park clothes underneath the costumes. I always have my daughter wear a long sleeved white shirt that morning. It doesn't take away from the costume. After breakfast I either put the costume in my backpack or I have one of the stores send it back to the hotel with one of my purchases.
