my DD, 3, loves everything princess and girly. we are doing BBB one day at MK so i know that she will dress up that day but i was wondering how many little girls actually dress up for the days in the park and how many families plan special disney outfits for their little ones? there are tons of cute shirts and such at disney.com on sale right now so i am debating on getting her shirts for each park and/or bringing and buying outfits. will she be out of place dressed as cindy or aurora while touring Epcot or MK on our non BBB day? what about in AK or DHS?

If she wants to dress up everyday, then let her. We took all of our dresses: yellow Belle gown, Holiday Belle, Snow White, and Cinderella.

I would suggest taking extra clothing. My dd got hot, itchy, or just tired of it.

No Princess could ever be out of place at WDW. We took my niece when she was 7, and she wore a very fancy tiara all day, every day even though she was in regular clothes.

We saw lots of princesses when we were there a few weeks ago - I think we saw at least a few in each park, but we saw the most princesses at Magic Kingdom. I agree with the advice to take a 'regualar outfit' (maybe a princess-themed shirt) along in case she gets tired of the dress or in case it gets too hot.
:)

As a practical matter, I would think about how many dresses you have and how many to bring. If you have a bunch, I don't think I would bring them all as it takes up a lot of room.

Also, bring her regular sneakers, no special princess shoes that are not comfortable for walking.

I cannot get my girls out of their princess dresses once they put them on. Tell guest services at check in it is her birthday and what ever princess is her favorite will bring a signed picture to our room. We did it last year and she talks to her picture everyday.

My advice from personal experience...leave half her clothes at home! If she is anything like my girly little princess she will insist on wearing the princess dress---The one you will buy at WDW because she batted her eyelashes and gave you that one of kind smile---every single day of your trip! I caved and bought my daughter the Snow White dress, and it waste to even pack anything else.

Have a great time!

My DDs only wear special Disney custom clothing while in WDW! I pack a separate suitcase for them with their sets including shoes, hair bows and jewelry. Yes, it's absolutely ridiculous!!
I have spent a small fortune outfitting them for our trips!
But we love it. They have special outfits for Epcot, HS, MK, Princess meals, Character meals etc. For this trip they have new Wall-E outfits, christmas sets and new AK sets.
I need to get to work on matching jewelry now!
My DH even loves it! (Not the cost of course- but he just tries to overlook that!)
The girls get SO much extra attention from other guests, CMs and characters. To us it's part of the magic!
We see plenty of other kids dressed up as well.
Just have fun with it!

I can't think of the last time my DD set foot in a park in "regular" clothes LOL.
She has:
Mary Poppins
Minnie
Snow White
Jo Jo
Goofy
MANY Tinkerbell sets LOL
2 different Belle dresses
Pocahantas
Safari Mickey
That is just off the top of my head LOL

She does wear crocs with the outfits and hairbows (crowns tend to fall off). She LOVES them!!!!!

I make them for her, so the cost is not a big deal. When she outgrows them, I sell them and make bigger ones LOL.
