That is so awesome! I went on a doctor assisted diet to lose 100 lbs in 9 months ... I mostly just wore belted clothes then I went wedding dress shopping and it hit me real hard. But it was a nice hit. I hope your weight loss journey goes real well and that next time you go shopping you see 16!
I started at a 24 and now im at a 14. And I have to admit 18 felt the most sweet as that dreaded 2 was gone!

I own three pairs of Lee side elastic pants - two size 16 petite and one size 18 petite. I had gained weight last year and had to get the size 18P. Well, all three jeans have split on the inside seam due to my weight gain.

Recently I have found out that I've lost weight. So today I went out to get DS8 some more school clothes and decided to try on a pair of Lee side elastic jeans size 16p. They felt a bit baggy on me so I went and got a size 14p and got a surprise - THEY FIT! I have been so excited since I found out. The only thing is that I can fit in a size 14p for this brand only right now. I'm about 179.5 lbs right now and 5'4". I still have at least 30 lbs more to lose. But at least I have a pair of jeans that fit!!!!

I had a very similar experience. I knew I had lost weight, started with a size 18, went back and got a 16, and finally settled on a 14 petite. What a feeling - I would have sworn at one point that I would never get into a size 14 again!

Not in a dressing room but I had one of those too. I've lost 44lbs over the 8-9 months and on a whim decided to try on my old jeans. I was fully prepared to not get them on as I still have 10lbs to go. Well, they slipped right on, no squeezing into or sucking it in, perfect fit. I came out of the bedroom bawling! Fortunately DH has been a huge cheerleader and he got it right away.

Congrats again, may you have many more such victories!

Yes, that's happened to me a couple of times. Tears of joy and shouts like a crazy person when I can fit into things I haven't been able to wear in years!

Thanks! I'm already starting to feel my abs getting tighter and slimming down since DH brought home an excercise machine he got from his friend (who didn't need it anymore). I've been using it and it's been fun to use.

I'm just relieved that I can finally get rid of the pregnancy weight in my lower abdomen since having DS8.

Btw, did you change your avatar? I don't remember seeing a picture of you there before.
