Dressing Kids for Disney...I'm obsessed! pics plz!

Cute outfits....what cute outfits could you be talking about!!! LOL!! I know this does not show the creativity that most of you seem to have BUT they were on sale and my hubby and I matched also. This trip I just have the patriotic Mickey Tee's that were on sale for like $2.90 a few months ago. (and my 15 year old is SURE to give me a problem about wearing it but TOO BAD).

Watch the Budget Board for info when the Disney Store marks it's t-shirts down to $2.50. I bought DS and DD a matching set for half of the days of our trip, then washed them half way through and they wore them again. It's a good thing I only spent $2.50 a shirt because they were ruined by the end of the trip. Pizza Planet and Mickey ice cream bars... .

I love to dress my 5 year old up for our Disney trip... So much fun! She wears all the Princess dresses and I make custom overalls and minnie skirts also sell on ebay. My ebay id is mysunshinekaylarose. My friend Aliisha in previous posts got me hooked so I started selling also..Its a great place to find a unique outfit for your trip..Everyone always stops and asks where we got the overalls..Great pictures also..I cant wait for our next trip/cruise May 2007!!

I wish I made the Alice dress!! They don't make them anymore. They were sold in Disney World for years, but stopped selling them about 8 years ago I think. They have a new Alice, but the quality is just not the same I was lucky enough to find a bigger size this year on eBay. I was still squeezing my poor daughter into the 3T at 4 1/2 LOL ! They are sooo hard to find I did a daily eBay search but they usually go over $90.00!! But I finally found one for our trip next week

Littleprissboutique, I was admiring your clothes on another thread. You should open a store in TN, I know I would love to buy some outfits for DD. You are very talented. I wish I could sew . Do you have and Ebay store?

I love looking at the adorable outfits and the kids are pretty darn cute, too.

I have 2 boys -- they wouldn't go for much more than a t-shirt.

But, I just have to tell all of you who are dressing your children that it is appreciated by other guests, too.

Last year my DS (he was 7 then, but is autistic so developmentally younger) saw a little girl dressed head to toe as Tinkerbell. DS's favorite movie is Peter Pan. He couldn't take his eyes off her. The family was posing for pics near us in an uncrowded place and he got to talk to her for a few minutes. The little girl seemed to love the attention he was giving her. DS still talks of seeing Tink at Epcot. It was one of the highlights of his trip.

Kaylee's favorite princess is Snow White. But, when it came to her outfit she said it would be rude to wear Snow White to CRT...LOL I just laughed at her. I am going to get pics together of Kaylee's Snow White and Ariel Set sometime tomorrow-- I will post pics.

I too am trying to come up with some creative ideas for our trip in February. The only problem I have is that my DS will be 5 and I just don't know what kinds of clothes to do for him other than a Disney t-shirt. I am going to try and make my DD (she will be 2) and DN (who will be 22 months) some coordinating outfits but I don't want my son to look silly in homemade clothes. Anybody got any ideas.

Also, if some of you are considering making an inexpensive outfit for your little one's trip, this one is super easy!!! I made this for my daughter's 1st b'day party (Minnie Mouse of course) and it has been the biggest hit!! I had very little sewing experience so I wanted something really easy!

I am obsessive about all things involving my photographed children Christmas and Easter photos esp. so obviously, Disney is no exception for me-lol! But I had just assumed many go overboard with the disney outfits though... will dressed up kiddos actually get extra attention? Maybe, possibly, hopefully...
Were there many other kiddos with boutique overalls that you guys encountered? I live in a Texas suburb w/ many other overzealous moms so these a commonly seen around town.
