Before you go, do you buy disney themed clothes? I've gotten some cute shirts on ebay.

I'll be the one at the airport with my personalized MM messenger bag, MM shirt, and painted nails with MM heads and mouse spelled on the other hand! Do you think it'll be obvious where I am going to? :lmao:

The last time we went, a family had two daughters dressed in princesses dresses and they were watching Lady and the Tramp on their dvd player.

no, never. we just wear the clothes we already own.
though this year we are skipping the auotgracp books and doing tshirts instead. im thinking of getting shirts made at Zazzle.com with pictures of the kids with the characters from last years trip. but of course we cant be wearing them of we want them signed.

We usually pack our most comfortable clothes. Yes I have Disney T-shirts, but they are from past trips. We may buy some new clothes (like DH needed some shorts) that we need for the trip but not specifically Disney.

That being said, the Disney store recently had a GREAT
t-shirt sale ($2.99 ea kids or adult t-shirts) I got some T-shirts for DH, DS & myself because I couldn't resist the price and the ones for me are nice and light and cool for our trip in Sept.

I live in FL and fly quite often for work. Somehow my flights to FLL seem to be nearby to the gates for Orlando when I'm connecting through Dallas or Houston.

I spend quite a bit of time people-watching, seeing who's going to the House of the Mouse! :upsidedow I see brand new crocs, Disney backpacks or totebags, etc. I've yet to see any princess dresses or customs, though.

I'm always amused (because it so resembles my family) when Mom and the kiddos are dressed in new clothes and Dad's there in a t-shirt and well-worn tennies. Don't worry, I don't get close enough to see what's painted on your nails!

I will admit that last time we drove to Disney I made DD change her outfit in the bathroom at the restaurant where we picked up lunch from a car-worthy outfit to a Disney outfit. Now, I can't say for sure, but we scored an upgrade at the hotel! :goodvibes

Yes, I do pick up some new Disney themed clothes... I'm such a geek that this year I made us all get matching Disney Logo t-shirts, blue for the boys, red for the girls. I'm a sucker for the Disney Shopping.com sales... I also bought us new beach towels as a surprise for the adults (the really cute postcard ones from Disney Shopping, 65% off!) Of course my DD and DS also have new Wall-E shirts! Oh, and the princess and Cars figurines (plastic) for the kids that "Mickey" brings them each morning they wake up! Hello, my name is Sara and I'm a Disney-aholic!

My FIL has never been to Disney with us before and I think he is going to be a bit freaked out by my enthusiasm!:rolleyes1

There are a whole bunch of us nuts who sew frantically for weeks before going to disney! check out the diboutique thread! We love to make our kids dress up for disney!

At least my dd loves to wear it all and won't really wear anything anymore that is store bought!

Yep, I buy Disney t-shirts just for my Disney trips. I keep an eye out at Target and Walmart for Disney clothes. I have found a bunch of tshirts for $5.00 each. Plus I have a special Alice in Wonderland bag that I only use at the parks.

Nope.not for me.Dd does have tons of disney shirts and outfits already. The only things I purchased for me are new shoes ( tevas terra fi sandals this year) and a tote bag ( ellington flight tote).

No but that's because I'm not into character clothes or customs.

I do have to buy new summer clothes since we go off season and the kids grow like weeds and all of their summer clothes they have outgrown.

I may do a few Disney t's for hte kids if I can find them on sale!

How cute! Your daughter is adorable! I really like the Mickey & Pooh dresses.

We don't leave for Disney until May of 2009, but I have already bought everybody new Disney clothes to wear (hubby included). The Disney Store has been having so many good sales lately that I bought way more than I should have. Everyone will have a new outfit for each day that we are there, lol.

We are also doing a few matching shirts for everyone (going as a Grand Gathering of 11 with extended family) - a few are custom designs from the DISboards - the other one is the turquoise Disney logo shirt from the Disney Store.

We've also bought Mickey luggage - my hubby & son have navy blue, and the girls & I have red Mickey luggage. Also this past weekend, I ordered my two youngest kids personalized Disney backpacks (Mickey & Minnie). Not to mention the new Baggallini, crocs, etc..... that I have bought because people here on the DIS have recommended them.

So I guess we will be one of those families in the airport that you KNOW is going to Disney, lol.

I just need to stay away from Disney Shopping Online, or we might not be able to afford that vacation after all. Yes, I am addicted, and I have a problem.

Yes I do! I had specially made outfits for all three of my girls (and my nieces) for all 8 days of our last trip. I had two special shirts made for my son and my nephew, because they just aren't into it as much as the girls. I also color coordinate all 6 of us every day of each trip. If I can figure out how, I will load some of the pictures up. They had red polka-dot minnie outfits, appliqued jumpers with Ariel, Belle and Tinkerbell, an appliqued short set with Cinderella and her coach, smocked short sets with Alladin and Genie and short sets smocked with Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian.

Since we are going Aug 30, I'm figuring we are going to be going through 2 shirts a day so I'm bringing both my own and Disney ones. I already bought 2 Tinkerbell shirts on Ebay and saw a cute Dalmation shirt on Delia's website that I want to get. I plan to get some more t's for DS before our trip and DH has 1 or 2 so I'm going to try to get him some more too. He isn't a Disney person :sad2: but he'll wear them for me! He loves Grumpy though so I'm trying to look for some cool Grumpy shirts and somehow figure out a way for us all to color coordinate! My parents are going too but won't do the whole Disney shirt thing.
