A friend told me that I should have my DD dress up in a Cinderella costume for lunch and that way she won't be overlooked. Have you ever dressed up your little girls?

I don't want to use her halloween costume, I paid way to much for it and don't want it to get ruined before Halloween. Should I just go ahead and get a cheapy costume for lunch and possibly MNSSCHP?

Your daughter looks lovely in it! If it were me, I would have the same concerns, but I would probably let her wear it. I would just explain to her how important it is to eat "like a princess", and not dirty up the dress. I would remove it right after the meal, spot clean any questionable areas, and put it in a ziploc in my bag. This way, you can get more use out of the dress (I'm sure you paid enough to want her to wear it more than once), and get some amazing pictures! If you are very concerned that it would be stained or she would not be willing to take it off right after the meal, maybe you could buy a less expensive costume from the DS, ebay, or Costco for the trip.

Last time we were there DD did not dress up for CRT but we saw a lot of little girls that were.

However, the night we did MNSSHP we ate at Chef Mickey's and her costume was Minnie Mouse that year. I was scared she would get something one it but she did great and she had a blast, we hardly saw anyone dressed up. Mickey Mouse danced up and down the isle with her and Minnie Mouse took off her apron and put it on dd, sat down in her seat and tried to send dd off to the tables to visit the other guest. Thought she could take a break. The only downside was that Chip took her Mickey Halloween bucket from the table when she wasn't looking and she got too mad. Wouldn't go near him the rest of our vacation. It was by far the most magical experience we've had. Would love for something like that again. This year she's going to be Jasmine but I doubt I'll let her wear it to CRT because it was very expensive and wouldn't want to mess it up before MNSSHP.

If I was you I think I'd go with your thought of getting a cheaper costume to wear to CRT.

thats a lovely costume, i think its would look fantastic at crt !!

I let DD wear hers, it was one that we arranged for the concierge to have on her bed when we arrived. She did fine, didn't make a mess at all, and she wore it twice, for breakfast and then again for dinner at 1900 Park Faire. On www.disneydeals.com they have had some costumes at reasonable prices, I picked up a Belle and a Snow White for each daughter.
