I haven't used him, nor am I going, but most of the reviews I have read have not been very good at all. I have heard that the final product is normally good but just the customer service issues dealing with him are horrendous, ie. it takes forever to get your video back, lots of mistakes when you do get the video back that you have to go back and have him fix it etc.

I think he is getting recommended so much that he now has TOO much work to do and is sacrificing customer communication and quality for that. Just my .02

While I am not using the Kennedys I would highly reccomend them as I have heard nothing but wonderful reviews and the communications I had with them before I decided to go with Jeffrey Stoner were wonderful.

I'm using Apex Media. I really hadn't heard a lot about them as George hasn't done too many Disney Weddings yet but I believe he did have a sample from one on his website. I liked his style and his work seemed just as good as anyone elses...just at a better price. I managed to get a $100 discount in May, perhaps he'll be offering more discounts soon. I believe there are a few others here going with them as well.

I am really considering using Apex. We are only doing an intimate so I didnt want to go TOO extreme on the spending for video.

Which package are you getting? and I am I seeing this correct, the biuld your own package starts at $495?

The prices are kind of confusing on that page. The $495 is for the basic package which is 2 hrs fully edited, 1 videographer, 2 cameras and wireless mics. That's the package I got but we recived it for $395+ a $50 set-up fee for the Commander's Terrace since it's a second location. He didn't charge the $50 to someone else on here though...

Still...it's a pretty good deal and we really don't need more coverage than that.

You know...I never asked, lol. I never even thought about it but I'm sure you could fill out the contact info and ask him there. He's pretty good about responding to his emails in a timely manner.

DF and I chose between STVS and Kennedy. It was difficult for us because we really liked the style of Kennedy, but we also liked STVS. We emailed them both on the same day. Stan (STVS) got back to me within 24 hours (actually less than that), and the people from Kennedy took several days. I had the demo dvd from STVS in my hands in about a week, and it took nearly twice as long to get it from Kennedy. So, we decided to go with STVS. We have contacted Stan several times and have always gotten a response within 24 hours. While I did always get a response from Kennedy (emailed them twice), it took longer and I just felt more comfortable with Stan.
