Dress Question for 3 day cruise

oh definitely....i would hate to be at WDW with someone who didn't love it as much as i do...
i met a woman last year...and to this day i kick myself that i didn't think of taking her name...(but we were both busy taking pictures of our kids surfing at typhoon lagoon)..
her husband HATES all things disney, so long ago she stopped dragging him along...
she goes to WDW for several weeks each year with her daughter (now 15)...usually bringing one of her daughter's friends along..
last year they went on the disney cruise for the first time and loved it so much they were planning on doing the 7 day cruise this year...in fact, talking to her is what convinced me that we'd love the cruise....anyway, she said it was much nicer not taking her husband along, since he hates disney so much he would ruin it for her anyway...

EXACTLY! So I decided that until if and when DH decides he really WANTS to go cruising on DCL, I will either happily cruise solo or take a relative or friend. It's interesting the attention/treatment I get from the CM's when I'm solo - Kind of FUN! BTW, as for DH - he hates to dress up and a sports coat is about as far as he goes for anything! :teeth:

As for hubbies who don't like Disney, I used to be in that boat (no pun intended). Taswira, like you we don't have children, but we are pretty much children at heart. My husband loved amusement parks and roller coasters, so we did a lot of travelling, but I could not convince him to come with me to WDW. Finally he agreed, and then our house flooded a few weeks before the trip! We were gone for the weekend, and a toilet tank upstairs crack...the place had to be totally gutted because the drywall was destroyed throughout the whole main floor. Needless to say, we had to cancel the trip. Then I convinced him to go the next year, vowing that we would make it there no matter WHAT happened. God decided to show me He has a sense of humor, and I came down with chicken pox (in my thirties!!) right before the trip. I insisted on going anyway, since the contageous part was over, so I have red blotches all over my face in all the photos. For someone who had refused to go for so long, hubby was an instant convert. I consider myself lucky, as I know that doesn't always happen (I joke with him that I had a computer chip implanted in his head during the trip). Same thing with cruising...he never wanted to try, but the Disney name and the short length convinced him to give in. 23 cruises later, it's obvious he is now TOTALLY converted.
