Dress code

Taken from allears.net July 2005 Dining news (no mention of sneaks) :confused3 :
Upscale resort restaurants change dress code to Business Casual! No hats, swim suits, swim suit coveralls, tank tops, T-shirts, torn clothing or flip-flops. You can wear - dress shorts, pants, jean pants, collared shirts, blouses, sweaters, pants. Restaurants now requiring Business Casual include: Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge), California Grill (Contemporary), Citricos and Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian), Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge), Flying Fish (Boardwalk), and Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club).

Unfortunately, enforcement of any dress code is apparently a continuing problem.
Bedeviling those who didn't want to (but did try to dress up to the code), and then found they really didn't have to.
Or those who really wanted to dress up, adhered to the code and found that others didn't--and got in anyway.

And it is interesting that the official WDW website restaurants section makes no mention of any dress code...

I made reservations for California Grill yesterday for a visit next week and was informed that the dress code was "casual." That's it, no definition. I also made reservations for Jiko and Teppanyaki and no dress code was mentioned.

There is no dress code at Tappanyaki.

Amazing that even now folks who call for ADR's continue to get partial-conflicting-or NO information on the dress codes.

Anytime you have multiple people doing the same job you're going to have variability, unfortunately.
