Hello,

We have booked a 4 day cruise leaving from Port Canaveral with a stop at Nassau and Perfect Day. I just read the dress code for the dining room and wanted to get some overall feedback.

We went on a similar Disney cruise a couple years ago and I’m certain that I only brought shorts for our entire family and a couple dresses for one daughter. We spent most of the time in swimsuits and coverups.

Based on what you’ve seen can I just bring some nice cropped black yoga pants to wear and jeans for DH. We have the anytime dining in case that makes a difference.

Also, just checking that shorts will be okay at the buffet place.

Thanks!

Shorts will be fine in the buffet, even okay in the MDR for kids if they are nicer khaki shorts. Jeans are fine for DH, and black crop pants will be fine as well. Basically the only thing not allowed in the dining room is swim suits. In the buffet you will be fine in a swim suit with a coverup. Sun dresses are also a good choice. The 3 & 4 day cruises no longer have a "formal" night, just a suggestion to "dress your best" one night. I have seen everything from evening gowns for those that like to dress up, to jeans and a nice polo for those that prefer not to.

Should be fine. Maybe your husband can bring a sport jacket just in case but I don't think anyone will make a fuss.

buffet is pretty much "don't wear wet clothes", IIRC.
