Dress code in Disney World? Ladies please help....

Not sure how to phrase this....my style of dress is boho and so I have a boho style tank top that has a lacey top and straps....when wearing a matching-colored bra, the bra somewhat, tastefully, shows through (and only a small portion of it).....nothing revealing at all (as I feel this would be completely inappropriate). Would Disney frown upon this? I'm talking when visiting mostly regular parks...not water parks.

I don't think that bra straps showing (or even part of the bra) is going to catch anybody's attention.

:surfweb:I've been at work all day and busy around the house after work, so I haven't been online....until now.....WOW.....I certainly did generate some interest, huh? Ok...hopefully I am able to address all the comments accurately....pardon me for not using the quote feature for this.... first....it's a ruffled tank with a lacey top portion. Funny enough, it has wide straps and so the actual bra straps do NOT show at all. The bra, however, does show through the lace and so that was my big question....according to Disney POLICY (and thank you so much to the person who provided the actual policy)....would I be complying? After reading this policy, seems I should have no worries. Going along with a previous comment made regarding a bathing suit top underneath....I'm actually thinking a bandau top may work well....going to see how that will look. Whether bandau or bra, I've decided to make it a night-time dinner outfit (worn with a long boho skirt) at Raglan Rd in Downtown Disney. All of your input has been really great and I appreciate your putting so much thought into helping me. Your support made me feel very good. Thanks so much!

It no longer shocks me at what people where to the parks or at the resort pool. :confused3 I'm just glad they are not nude. :hippie:

I think these tops are similar to what the OP is talking about. http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/juniors/brands/so/tops/PRD~798790/SO+Lace+Tank.jsp http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/kid...RD~780821/Mudd+Crochet+Slubbed+Tank++Plus.jsp

They are in the Junior dept of most stores and are pretty popular right now. One has peek-a-boo lace in front, the other is crochet in the back.

With regard to inappropriate, I'll never forget the larger woman with the stretched out see through white bikini on at Typhoon Lagoon one trip.

Wow, the people who think a little bra strap showing are quite narrow minded imho. I doesn't really matter does it... In the grand scheme of things if you see someones Bra Strap!!!

I really can't see what's offensive about it!

If the op is really bothered, then they should wear a bikini top as this is seen as more acceptable...

Good grief. The lady says she's thinking about a top that has some lace on it, and part of her bra might be visible depending on what color she wears. Call me just a refugee from the '60's, but what's the big deal? That's how the clothes work, folks.

And I hate to break it to some of the fashion police here, but it's no longer a secret that women wear bras, so being mortified if a strap or a bit of the back show is just silly.

cdgrill, your outfit sounds really neat and I'm certain you'll look fantastic in it. Have a magical visit to the World, and don't worry about it.
