Can you wear jeans at Shulas? What's the dresscode? Do they have a children's menu?

there is a children' menu but you will have to ask for it as it will not be advertised as them having one. Kids are allowed but not encouraged.

it's a High end steak house so Jeans, IMHO are inappropriate. that being said you will not be turned away.

My DH is a big steak guy so went to Shulas when our kids were about 10. We had been to Yachtsman Steakhouse the year before and our kids are good eaters who do like steak and we enjoyed yachtsman very much.. That said, Shulas was a little different. It's felt more like a nice NY steakhouse rather than a Disney steakhouse and I would say you wouldn't feel comfortable wearing jeans unless you are woman in a very dark wash jean worn with heels and a dressy top. A man might get away with jeans if theyre dark and worn with a jacket. Kids could probably wear jeans if worn with a nice collared shirt and loafers or very tidy sneaks. Did you check allears for a kids menu?

I wore a pair of khakis and a decent shirt as a man and did not feel out of place. In fact there were many guests when I was there last Oct. that were dressed in Jeans and Disney shirts as well who didnt appear to be uncomfortable in their attire.

We just ate there in Jan.. I remembered to dress nice-casual for our dinner as we were going from DHS to the Dolphin directly and not going back to our room to change. My Dh did not remember and I forgot to remind him. So he was wearing a Haunted Mansion t-shirt and knee-length shorts. They didn't say a word nor did they even sneer at what he was wearing. They were delightful and friendly. The place is so dark anyway (not in a bad way though), I can't see how others would really be able to see very well what someone else was wearing unless they are really looking.

We didn't have our kids w/ us this trip. We sat near the back of the restaurant and on our way through the place on the way out, we only saw one table w/ kids at it. I would bring mine with but only if I REALLY was hankering a steak because whew, I don't want to pay that much for my kids' meals which they would hardly touch anyway. For us, it was well worth the $200 meal (no alcohol).

Basically, unless you're worried about what others think of you, if you want to wear jeans, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable. Many people like to pass judgement on their fellow man but Shulas will welcome you.

I tend to agree with this poster. The atmosphere of the restaurant and it's wait staff seem more upscale than most WDW restaurants. My wife and I wore business casual attire, but witnessed several men in coat/tie and women in dresses. That being said, and in my opinion, Shula's serves the best steak on property!

. . . Shula's was a little different. It's felt more like a nice NY steakhouse rather than a Disney steakhouse and I would say you wouldn't feel comfortable wearing jeans

The dress "code" at Shulas is exactly the same as for all the Signature restaurants:

Steer clear of what is actually "not allowed" and you will be fine. As you can see, jeans are perfectly acceptable.

Shulas has a kids menu but for some reason they do not publish it. You will need to ask for it once you arrive at the restaurant.

Shulas is a bit more "adult" than most other Disney restaurants, and they have a fair share of adult "groups" dining there who are at conventions or meetings at the Swan/Dolphin.

We've seen people dressed up there, we've seen groups of men in shorts and golf shirts obviously straight from the golf course. We've seen kids there and we've seen people in jeans.

I think the only commonality among them all was they all had credit cards.

When we go to Shula's I usually wear a pair of Kaki's and a Polo shirt or short sleaved dress shirt with a pair of shoes. My wife will usually wear a casual dress and nice sandals. I have seen guys in shorts and polo shirts and last time we were there several tables had children. It is my favorite place to eat on property and the steak and bread is amazing. If you are going to get the souffle for desert you will need to order it when you order your meal.

1) We were there last Wednesday evening.
2) We wore
. . . me - dress shorts, golf shirt, clean tennis shoes
. . . wife - shirt, sleeveless top, low heels
3) We saw
. . . suits
. . . dresses
. . . shorts
. . . golf t-shirts
. . . dress shirts

Yes you can wear jeans. My DH wears jeans to all signatures, I think they are too hot when we go, so I am in capris at signatures. I'm in jeans at all nice restaurants in Vegas & NYC too, which is what everyone else wears, to me Disney is a lot less dressy than everywhere. You will be fine in jeans.
