Dress code at Artist Pointe?

Especially in the summer for women right now. At least in our part of the country it is hard to find summer blouses right now. A few years ago, campshirt type blouses were in style but now it is t-shirt material although they don't look like the kind with Mickey characters. The style that disneyde was speaking of would be an example. Some are fancy, some are plain, many are expensive but not many summer blouses out there.

Definitely, DH wouldn't dream of wearing jeans in August! We love AP and will be dining here again this trip - easier last year as we stayed at WL and went to the room to change before our meal - this time we'll be in park attire as we're staying elsewhere. Last July DD and myself felt a little overdressed in dresses as most people wore shorts and tees - seems that they've tightened up a little now.

Just for clarification to a non native American - I suppose that cut-offs are ripped jeans, right? and 'dress' shorts are longer style shorts? For myself and DD, a 'blouse or sweater' might pose a problem - don't do blouses (and definitely not sweaters in August in Florida

I'm not sure that I understand the whole tank top thing. I own many tank tops that I wear to parks (none of which would ever be appropriate to wear to a nice restaurant), but I do have very tasteful, classy ones that I wear in fine dining establishments all of the time. I've never had a problem wearing these at Disney, so I'm sure they're talking about the casual, theme park type of tank.

It almost seems that because of concerns about how inconsistently this has been applied in the past, some places are now being very conscientious about being consistent in their application of the dress code. Very interesting.

One would THINK that's what they're talking about--
But at AP, who knows??? If they strictly apply the "no tank tops" thing (as they seem to be doing with the "no t-shirts" thing), it would mean no tank tops, no matter how nice they looked.
