Dress Atire for Pleasure Island

Hello,
My husband and I are going on our Honeymoon May 12th. SO excited. I am trying to pack. We are planning to go to the pleasure island clubs a couple of nights. What do most people wear to the clubs? Club attire or vacation attire? My husband and I are from Texas, so we don't want to stick out of the crowd. Are boots normal for men? I have a lot of "club" outfits- what should I expect?

I have never gone IN the dance clubs, but here are my observations from looking at the street and AC and comedy club...

You will see a combination of park and club attire. The younger people will be wearing more club, the older people will be wearing more park.

Either way you go, or if you split the difference, you will not stand out.

I don't know that I have seen any guys wearing boots, but I never looked either. I am sure they would be fine.

People wear everything to Pleasure Island. I would just wear what you feel comfortable in.

Congrats! (We just hit 26 years ourselves - woo hoo for marriage!)

People will be wearing everything. It is Disney, and a lot of folks only pack vacation wear - which in May/June will be shorts, T-shirts and sandals. We've gone to AC, CW and (at Boardwalk) Jellyrolls in shorts & shirts and felt right at home. As others have said, though, some folks - a lot of locals, plus those who pack more - will be nicely attired: last December, as we were walking through DTD, we saw a man in suitcoat and the woman in a fur!

Certain clubs such as Mannequins & BET attract a dressier, younger crowd while Comedy & Adventurers are very casual: park wear.

Whatever you opt for, you will not stick out. Have a great time!

Even at maniquin's (one of my favorites) you see a lot of park attire. Like someone said, wear whatever makes you comfortable. If you want to go a little dressier, go ahead, you won't be out of place. Sometimes I wear plain old shorts and tshirt and I fit in just fine as well. Go and have fun.

The last time i was at the adventure club i was in jeans a t shirt and a baseball cap. Of course it was my birthday and my friend knew the people there and caused me to have to go up and do a little dance with the president of the club durring the hooplah

When we were on our honeymoon in July, DH wore khaki shorts and a polo shirt, and I wore a short jean skirt (clubbin' style) and a little baby tee. We fit in fine.
