has anyone used dreams unlimited travel to book a DW vacation. is there any real reason to use them? any feedback would be appreciated.

I am working with Bob V. at DU for my upcoming trip in March and he has been great!!! He even got my CRT ressie without me having to do anything It's been worth it to me and they were able to get my reservation when the Dolphin said they were sold out of the teacher rate!!!

Misti has been my DU TA in the past, and Sue Ellen is my DU agent for our upcoming trip.

Plusses: I can handle everything via email or online with DU- no staying on hold with WDW forever! My agents are more than happy to convert my reservations to a discounted rate whenever possible- they know which codes are available and when. I can view my reservation online whenever I so choose. Misti got us CRT breakfast reservations, which saved me a great deal of headaches, and an AP rate for BWV. Sue Ellen has been wonderful, and is always *right there* via email.
She also converted my three room reservation at PC to AP rates the morning they became available. She is happy to plan as much or as little of our daily activities as I wish. That's very important to me. On this trip with my folks, I don't want any definite plans. I want to play everything by ear, and appreciate not having to make any hardcore plans.

Minuses: I honestly cannot think of any, and I'm the type who would definitely speak up if I could.

hey thanks for the responses. i was trying to decide what to do and it seems like DU makes it easy to take care of your Res. I believe sue ellen will be my agent for our spring trip. I havent heard anything bad about them but thought id ask for feedback, thanks

I used DreamsUnlimited and thought they were excellent. A woman named Carol helped me plan every detail of my trip and got my breakfast at the castle with the princesses. I never even talked to her on the phone! I would use them again.

I am currently using Susan from DU and all I can say is WOW.
I too have never talked to her on the phone, everything has/is being done through e-mail. She is so efficient, helpful and talk about patient!! I'd be completely insane by now if I had me for a client

I highly recommend them!!

Have used them since I've found these boards. Always been pleased.

I like the idea that I book my trip pay my deposit and forget about it. They have always gotten me a great rate. They will make all your PS's and always seem to get the times you want.

I get regular e-mails about what happening, new and old.

Another 'thumbs up' from me for the crew at DU!!

We had Sue Ellen for our October trip and it was a breeze to work with her. I loved the whole experience in using them to help plan our trip.

I will certainly use DU again for future DW travels!

I used DU for my trip in Aug. 03 and I will DEFINITELY use them again. Shirley was our agent and was able to get us the Fairy Tale Package offered at that time (which WAS a deal in the summer!), she got us CRT, Fantasmic dinner package and was very helpful!!!

I am planning on going to WDW in July 05 for mine and DH's 5 year anniversary, baby #2's first biurthday, my mom's birthday and my son's almost 3rd birthday. I am going to email Shirley directly and use her again! I was VERY VERY happy with DU!!!!!!!!

Another YES vote.. We have dagny for our current reservations and we have been a pain! There are 6 families going some cruising and parks, some just parks, etc. She has kept it all straight and gotten us all the discounts available. Even the new CTN today!!

I emailed about the CTN discount code when I read it on mousesavers today and she was already working on getting it.. took her all days with the computer problem disney was having and she got it on the 5 rooms that were eligible!!

She has gotten us better prices for the cruises as well...

I booked our upcoming family reunion trip with DU on Christmas Eve and have recieved a confirmation e-mail, but it doesn't have any agent's name on it. When will I find out who our agent is? Our reservations will probably be a little confusing, so I'm hoping a 'real person' e-mails me soon so I can explain everything to them!

We used DU when they first formed for a 7 night trip and it was great. We became DVC owners that trip so really didn't need the service until recently.

We used our points for a cruise this summer and now using DU for the WDW stay after the cruise. They found a lower rate than the website quote. Since I started working full time, I love the idea that, when the time comes, I can tell our agent what PSs we want to try for, any extra activities (DQ, Cirque, etc) and she will take care of them.

You should be assigned a Travel Planning Agent within 48 hours of your initial deposit confirmation. Sometimes, it may even be the same agent who processed the quote for you. You typically also receive a welcome letter from your agent.

There should be an agent's name and email address associated with your on-line quote if you have some immediate questions regarding your reservation. Or, you can contact reservations@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com

Susan at DU did an absolutely brilliant job with our November trip for six. I was the family planner of record and she made me a hero to the other 5. She handled all PS, got us three rooms in a row at CBR (Martinique 25--could not imagine a better location), booked early arrival and add-on nights for some of us, got us the FTP when dates were extended (saved us a bundle), booked Keys to the Kingdom Tour and got us dinner at the Castle in response to a last-minute request from my SIL.

We did not experience a single glitch with our DU arrangements. Even though I still planned our itineraries, Susan was invaluable when it came to advice, tips, PS calls and tons of suggestions to make my nephew's trip magical.

Even tho I have a travel agent certificate, have worked as an event planner for years and consider myself a seasoned WDW vet, I will absolutely use DU for our 2004 trip.

We used DU for our Nov trip and I would not hesitate to recommend them! Sue Ellen was our agent and she was great. Since we have been many times before, I was not looking for a lot of day to day planning help, but Sue Ellen's personal experiences and advice to me were great - and saved us lots of "in line" time. My decision was based primarily on the fact that DU will continuously seek lower rates for you - new codes released etc. None arose for our dates, but this service was worth it to me. I can not think of a minus. As others have said, all PS were made for us, based on my requests. That alone is worth it!! Sue Ellen was also very patient with my changes, and accomodated all. DU (at least Sue Ellen) also emailed Disney "news", for things happiening during our stay. All in all, a happy camper here!

I'm another obsessive planner. But, for our trip in Aug.'03, I couldn't do as much as I wanted to do myself. So...I turned to DU. I was really pleased with them. I love Shirley. She always helped me get done what I needed to get done. Even if I messed something up, she quite happily fixed it. When I needed to book a quickie, last minute trip, I once again turned to Shirley and DU. I had made my air reservations. When I told Shirley when I wanted to book my room, I made a huge mistake in dates. I told her a week later than my flight times!!! But, she fixed it. Always got me PS's when I needed. And the great info they send you just before the trip is beyond compare. We bought into DVC this fall, so I won't be getting to use DU as much as I would have. But, I'm sure then I need someplace to stay for some week-end nights, Shirley will be there to bail me out!!! Thanks Shirley!
