Dreams Unlimited

Its upsetting and now I am seeing even stuff I somehow missed... and rethinking using Dreams completely... Such a mess
Is there a site that lists other agencies that specialize in Disney travel? Or are we not allowed to ask that on here? I think we are allowed to copy and paste other sites and then the software will filter it if it isn’t allowed, correct?

We used Dreams Unlimited for our ten day family trip to Disneyworld in May of 2022. It was a really big trip (and investment) for us since we wanted to show my new daughter-in-law all our favorite things about Disneyworld. It was her visit to the world. This included staying at the Poly and Beach Club, 10 day park-hoppers, lots of dining reservations, etc. Although I have planned many trips myself, I just felt a nudge to get extra help with this one.

One day into our trip my 88 year old mother back in Tennessee became deathly ill. As her only child, I had to make an emergency flight back to care for her, and the others drove back to be at the hospital with us. So our trip was cut very short. My sweet daughter-in-law tried to her best to recoup at least some of the money we had sunk into the trip but really didn't have any luck. Our wonderful agent Tracey Heinrichs at DU made some magic happen' and we were out very little money. Now that Mother has passed, we are taking another trip in her memory this May. We'll be using the funds and the tickets that Tracey was able to salvage for us. I would highly recommend her.

I think the site is called Google.

Only Dreams is mentioned here as they are the official sponsor, mentioning any other agencies that aren’t official sponsors could run you afoul of the advertising rules.

That was the question. Thank you. I have worked with another agency that is really good. I wanted to make sure I didn’t get in trouble by mentioning them. I did confirm that anyone can paste any web address in the comments here, and the software will hide the address if it isn’t an authorized site. That’s the best way to share info according to the moderators. The agency I used is below. Not sure if it will be hidden…

I used DU travel for my DLR visit (2022). I am not using DU for my upcoming WDW visit (2024).

My agent promptly replied when I asked a question and also let me know when she was not available and away from her desk. She was also professional in her replies and never rude.

But, unfortunately, my agent gave me incorrect advice about advanced purchases for our vacation (her excuse was that she assumed I was visiting WDW and didn't check our reservation to re-educate herself that I was visiting DLR) and I had to ask my agent to apply a DLR discount that I was eligible to receive. I was left with the impression my agent was either unaware of the discount or the dates of my travel.

I was left wanting more from my agent and DU and felt like I can plan my own vacation better than the agent could plan it. I hope you (and others) have a better experience with DU than I had.
We went to WDW in July 2023 and used DU. I felt the same way about our agent, an agent who has a strong profile with DU. She came across as disinterested and i felt i had to pry information from her. I was very disappointed and felt i could have planned my vacation just as well. We didn't even receive a follow up email from her after our trip to see how everything went. So I will also not be using DU in the future and will plan my own trips.

That's sad. I suggest you contact the owner, john@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com about this. The agent might need some remedial training.

My experience using Dreams Unlimited for our big family trip this past June was fantastic...Traci was my Disney Angel! It included initial reservations at Universal Portofino Bay for three nights and Contemporary for five nights, plus tickets. Once cash reservations for Bay Lake Towers opened, she switched us to a 2BR and studio (and even snagged a better discount).

She made all our dining reservations, light sabre and droid building reservations, and made sure we had all the information we needed. She put together a beautiful 12-page summary of our entire trip, with reservation details, park hours, 'not to miss' activities and hints/tips for using Genie+ (in effect at the time).

I would not hesitate to contact her again for our next trip.

I’m currently working with DU for 2 trips next year. I used them in the past (2005) and was very satisfied with the experience.

I’m working with a very nice agent named Lori and she’s been very timely in her responses.
