Has anyone else had issues?? We never hear back from our agent in a "timely" manner as we were told.....she is not that helpful...I have to send emails 2 times to get a response...has anyone else had this issue?? Thanks. :confused3

My DU agent, Sue Ellen, has been wonderful. She even responds to e-mails while she's sitting on the beach on her vacation! I'm sorry your agent has been unresponsive. Maybe you could switch who you are working with at DU.

If I dont get a response from her today...i am going to complain to DUT and ask for a new agent...the funny thing is we have used her in the past and she was VERY friendly and helpful.....this time around from Day 1 she has not been......it is kind of frustrating as I feel like I have to follow up and find the answers to questions they said they could answer......Thanks for the response....maybe I can ask for Sue Ellen!! :earsboy:

I've been using Sue Ellen too this trip and it's awesome! I've hardly had to do a thing.

Have you checked your junk email folder just in case it's going there?

We've used DU to book our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend using Dan. He's very responsive to his clients.

Hope this helps!

We used Dreams Unlimited for our last trip and were very happy. This trip we used another on-line travel agent and have really been less than pleased. It isn't that we received "bad" service, we just didn't receive the level of service we received from Dreams Unlimited. Our next trip will definitely be a Dreams Unlimited trip.

I'm wondering why your service hasn't been up to snuff. It may be that there are extenuating circumstances, but if that is the case they should have let you know or moved your account to another agent.

I used DU once and had a great experience from start to finish. A second trip with them started with a slow agent but I was quickly reassigned and throughly happy afterwards. I submitted a quote request over their website for my current trip and they never responded. I sent a follow up email and never got a response to that either. I check my SPAM folder regularly so I can't imagine what happened. I was very surprised given my past experiences with them. I ended up booking since I didn't want to miss out on the free dining package and just left the it with the Disney Travel Company. If you have a good agent (which I think most of them truly are), DU is a pleasure to deal with and any questions/problems are dealt with promptly. I'm sure they'll get things straightened out to your satisfaction.

I just used them for the first time, and all has bee good. My agent is going on vacation and warned us over a week ago, and gave us other email's and contact information if we have any trouble. I have been very happy, this is the first time I have used a travel agent for a trip.

I booked my cruise through du and was pleased. My Mom booked her cruise a week after I did, requesting connecting rooms. Well, we got rooms next to each other, but not connecting. I've e-mailed the agent 2 times in the past week and haven't received a response. If we don't get connecting rooms, I'll be forced to cancel our ressies and re-book through DCL, where I know there are connecting rooms available. My Mom is disabled and her room must be connecting to mine. I don't know why the agent isn't responding to us. :confused3

Rhonda did our July trip and she was great! always replied in a timely manner- even on weekend nights when I didn't expect to hear from her. I got all the discounts on the rooms that were available. Go Rhonda :cheer2:

I, too, am having issues. I submitted through the internet on Friday for the teacher rate at the dolphin and have yet to hear from them...long two days...

Someone in another thread had the exact same complaint, only it was for Small World Vacations! :confused3 I think it depends on the agent you get assigned to rather than the travel company you use. I got very lucky with SWV but others hate them. Same thing with DU. I would ask them if you can change agents.

SueEllen has planned my last 2 or 3 trips and I wouldn't dream of booking any other way. While I have never had any kind of negative experience, I know from others that John will address your concerns (see post #8). Best of luck to you.

I requested a change so hopefully it will be better...we have used Dreams in the past without any issues....ugh....I hate to complain about it and all but I know they have good service.....just this time has been bad.....AND I have my requests that go unanswered....ahhhh!!! :rolleyes1

I finally heard from my agent just now and she was very apologetic (sp?) for the delay. She said they've had computer problems effecting their e-mail. I'd e-mail your agent again to be sure they received your message. Anyway, my issue has been resolved. For those of you still waiting, hopefully you'll be contacted soon! I'm back to being a fan of DU.

We are using DUT for our December trip. Our agent, Jason, has been wonderful. He will e-mail to let us know when he's going to be gone and periodically checks in to see if we need anything if it's been a while since I last e-mailed him.

For those of you taht have used DU in the last few months, how long did you wait to receive your ME tags. I keep reading on the boards of others receiving theirs for trips in mid to late September; I'm 13 days out and haven't received them yet; Sue Ellen is out till Friday and I hate to bother her fill in.
