Will I get any final information before my trip from Dream? My trip is 17 days away and my iternary still looks unfinished. Has anyone not been happy with thier agent? Each time I ask a question I get a response, but it is very short and has been almost rude at times. Is this just me, or have others found the same thing to be true. Just worried! :confused:
 
I don't have any info to help you, but I am sorry that you are having a bad experience with them. I've never used them before. But I am sure that someone here will be able to help you soon. Good luck!
 
Wow! I'm surprised. I didn't have any problems at all, and the reservation was handled immediately. I didn't get any final updates at the end, but everything had been taken care of in advance.

If you're unhappy with the service, contact them. There's never an excuse for poor customer service.

You might want to request a different agent. The owner/president of DU posted a while back apologizing for someone with a similar complaint. He said to contact him if someone had a problem and he would be happy to accomodate them. I'm not sure how to get a hold of him, but you might be able to do a search on this board or just call DU and ask.
 
Hmm...very unlike Dreams Unlimited. I had a GREAT experience with them and would recommend Sue Ellen (the DU agent assigned to my reservation) highly.

I received my 'vouchers' (Hotel Confirmation numbers) by mail almost exactly 30 days before departure.

I also received a very length e-mail of my final itinerary with all my PS numbers and tips by day as well as a few pages of general tips. Maybe it was sent to you but not deliverable due to the size of the file?

I'd say shoot your agent an e-mail and if you don't get a response in a timely fashion, then e-mail the general DU contact e-mail.

Good luck! I'm sure everything will be fine. I loved using DU- made the whole planning thing a breeze and all the PS worked like a charm.
 
I am using Dreams for my upcoming trip. My agent has been very thorough and pleasant. We leave in 4 days and I just received my final itinerary today!! If you are still concerned contact your agent and ask. Good luck !!!
 
Hi Bama3, Sherry is correct email john@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com with your concerns. I have alerted John as well and the matter will be looked into and addressed in a timely manner once he has more details from you.

Yes, please write to me if you have concerns or issues with your agent. Everyone at Dreams Unlimited takes great pride in making sure their clients experiences are the best possible. If for some reason you are not 100% satisifed with your current Dreams agent or experience please let me know and I will do my best to correct it.

Nothing but good experiences.

Tammy has been great even when I read something in the Passporter Guide that caused me to fly off the handle in an email at Dreams, thinking they had made a mistake with my reservation.

Tammy answered with coolness and politeness, even though I was neither.

Turns out the Passporter was wrong, Dreams was right, and I apologized profusely for my rudeness.
 
I had a problem with someone at Dreams Unlimited and contacted the owner by email.He responded immediately and was more accommodating than I ever expected.Being as busy a man as he is he still took the time to personally make sure everything was made right and went way above and beyond.I will never use another agency or even book myself again.I will be a loyal customer for life.
 
We are 24 days out and have received out packet in the mail, a full intinerary via email and lots of emails. Merrie is our agent and I wish she were planning our Alaska trip next year. I would feel a lot better.
DU will be our Disney Travel Agent on all of our future trips.

We had Shirley as our agent last August and I couldn't have been happier. She did tell me that my itinerary wouldn't be completed until the week before we left. This way they can be sure of park opening and closing times. About 6 days before we left she sent an email directing me to another address where I could print out the 21!!!! pages of stuff. I have been to WDW before and consider myself pretty knowledgeable about the place, but she had things in there that I didn't know about. Like the best places to watch the fireworks, places that might not be suitable for my dd, etc. We would use them again in a flash.
 
We worked with Dreams for the first time at the beginning of this year. When I was getting quotes it was right around the holidays last year and John was very quick to respond to questions and with pricing information when others were off or unavailable. He even double checked something for me on Christmas Eve! Dreams is top notch and I am sure if you are having any problems, that John will handle it.

Once we made the reservation, Tammy was our consultant and she was fabulous. She was so prompt, professional, and personable in her emails. And a few days before we left for our trip, even though she had already answered many, many questions from me, she emailed to check if I had any last minute questions. I was extremely impressed with them, and we booked our upcoming Magic cruise with them too.

Ok...I reserved through DreamsRes--do I still get an itinerary and all this info? If so, this is great! I know they'll make PS's for me but I had no idea about the other stuff. Color me pleasantly surprised!
 
Hi NMAmy, bama3 booked their reservation with Dreams Unlimited Travel using the Disney Hotel booking. You booked through DreamsRes with a non disney owned hotel, and it is a little different than her booking. You get the Priority Seating option and will have information on Park hours, Parades and fireworks schedules but the itinerary planning is not an option with the non disney hotel bookings. I hope this helps explain it for you.
 
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dreams Unlimited and my terrific agent, Liz Lindsey. She is such a pleasure to work with. She has helped me with several complicated reservations, and she always checks in on me to see if I need anything. I have used Dreams for several trips to the World, and I have never been disappointed.
 
She is great! This is the second year in a row that she has been our agent. We couldn't be happier with the service and tips that she gives us. She is very fast at answering any questions that we have. We will never go with anyone else now but Dreams. :)
