I know this is a loaded question, but has anyone used Dreams Unlimited to help book their trip?
The reason I ask is because there is a 90% shot that I'll be headed to WDW in Feb. with my girlfriend. we went down the wdw in march of 2000, and i planed the whole thing. this time around, i'm kinda lazy. i figure if i can have someone else to the work for me, at no cost, why not!!! is it really free, or are there any hidden charges anywhere? i already looked all around thier site, but i guess the new yorker in me is telling me to be a little skeptical.
thanks for the help.
~Chris

I'm using them for our Feb. trip to the contemporary (2003). YUP, they really are free and work just like any other travel agent and then some!! PLUS they set up a nifty custom itinerary for you (you answer a questionaire and they give suggestions). Plus your agent will make you PS ressies. Oh yeah, and when new discounts come out they will see if you can use them. (Cathy got me $350 off our room last month with my DC card and I didn't have to do a thing!!)

While I haven't actually gone on the trip yet, so far I can't say enough good things about them!!!

We just did - haven't taken the trip yet but I got all my paperwork Saturday - looks good everything set up really well. We even got CRT's PS without any early morning phone calls and exactly when we wanted them.

You get a really neat printout with all your stuff on it, what park breakfast/lunch/and or dinner PS numbers and stuff like that.

We went with a "Disney" package and the price I got from DU was exactly what Disney quoted me, so I didn't see any hidden charges. Good luck and Cathy at DU is GREAT!!! (I probably drove her crazy making change after change but she was always on top of things for me. :D

I used them too...go with them, they're great.:D

I used them for our last trip and it was great. They do all the bookings for you, they get the best rates and all for free. If I was booking a family trip to DW I would not hesitate to use them again. ( I had Kelsie taking care of me, she was awesome!!)

I used them back in 2000 for our honeymoon and they were wonderful! It was so nice to be able to tell them what we hoped to do and where we'd want dinner and have them take care of it all! I'd use them again for another special occasion or a family trip :)

I've used them several times, and they are great! There are no hidden charges, and they will work to help you find the best discount for your trip. Give them a try! :)

I have used them twice and will do so again!

Go with Dreams! They take a lot of time and pressure off of your hands by doing it all for you. The only things I had to do was call Hoop Dee Doo for a special menu for DH, call ASMu for my room request, and book my Fantasmic! package. I changed my PS's several times...I thought Cathy would kill me. No hidden charges and they are ALWAYS looking at what's best for you.

Tell the New Yorker in you to relax....everything will be just fine. ;) :p

I used Dreams in 2000 and again for a trip we took earlier this year. They are absolutely great and I have every intention on using them every time we plan a trip to Orlando.

I used DU for my family trip back in '99 (I think we were the first client to actually take a DU planned trip). My agent was CC and she was most helpful and patient with me, me an inexperienced WDW traveler back then. There are no hidden costs, you will pay the same as you would directly to CRO or any other TA, (and very possibly less as they are great at getting the best prices out there) but with the knowledge that you have some of the best and most knowledgeable Disney folks helping you plan your magical vacation at WDW, DCL or DL.

They also seem very good at getting some typically very tough ressies, like Cindy's breakfast and Illumination cruises. I have talked to a number of the agents and they assure me they are in the queue, just like the rest of us at 7 AM EST, but I think they have a sprinkling of pixie dust with their success track record, they are good!!!

Lastly, since so many of the DU agents are DIS moderators and webmasters, they do get to get a good feel for the types of trips that the folks on the DIS are looking for and they have much collateral input from the people and information on the boards themselves.

As Mikey (not Mickey) used to say, 'Try it, you'll like it!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Here's another very happy Dreams customer

I've used DU twice and had the best experiences. You will not be disappointed with their service.

I used them too. No tricks, no extra fine lines, no hidden charges.
And believe me, I'm careful too.
Kelsie did great for us. :teeth:

Cathy (not CC) booked min almost two years ago in Feb. Gosh, it was easy and nice. She did all my PS's (even got us Cinderella's breakfast--which I didn't need after all). It was a good experience though & I have recommended them and would use them again.

We have used DU for our cruise and are using them again for our trip in December and another cruise in April 03. Terrific customer service - we highly recommend them!:bounce:
