I apologize if this is not the proper forum for this question but I'm at a loss. I'm helping my SIL and family plan a July vacation and was wondering if they use DU to book their trip could they still use ME for transport to and from MCO
or do they have to use alternate ground transport. Thanks for all help provided.

DME is for anyone who has a reservation at a Disney owned-and-operated resort. It doesn't matter how it was booked, with whom it was booked, whether it's a package or room-only, whether it's for 1 night or 10 nights, or whether it's with one airline or another.

DME requires a separate reservation -- it's not automatically included even though it's free.

The DU agent will ask them if they want to book DME. They are very thorough.
