about DCL not letting you transfer older reservations without any grandfathering.......I want my basket!!!!!
 
Who else could you have ordered it from besides an outside vendor or DCL? :confused3

I think they meant as opposed to the free one from DU. A poster had said they she ordered a basket for her husband...possibly confused with the free one from DU.

We were on an 8 night out of Galveston in February. Booked w/ DU. No basket. :(

I heard it is only Port Canaveral. They don't do the baskets for Miami sailings either.
 
Gift baskets are only for sailings out of Port Canaveral.
 
Thank you for all the kind words on the Gift Bags. I'm glad you all like them and you're finding the items useful.

Just to clarify - for now we are only able to put the DU gift bags in the staterooms of our clients on sailings that depart from Port Canaveral. Length of cruise doesn't matter - as long as the cruise departs from Port Canaveral Florida you will receive a Dreams Unlimited Travel gift bag.

We looked into placing our gift bags in the staterooms of our clients on sailings out of other ports that have a port-of-call/stop in Port Canaveral and Disney Cruise Line told us we couldn't do that. It has to do with the fact that Disney Cruise Line has much fewer shoreside staff working on a port-of-call day versus a day the ship departs the port and therefore we couldn't do it.

Hi Mary

All clients currently booked with Dreams Unlimited Travel on any 7-night sailing out of Port Canaveral will receive our gift bag. It doesn't matter if your reservation was a 'direct booking' (initiated originally with Dreams Unlimited Travel) or it came to us after it was booked by you (i.e. a transfer)

So, in your case you would definately receive one. If you have more than one stateroom booked it will be one per stateroom.

I can't quite tell from the recent pic of basket. Are there still travel mugs in the baskets? If so....that would be awesome - one thing less to pack!!!

Yes - there are still travel mugs in the gift bags. These are very popular so they will always be included going forward.
 
Those gift baskets are great!

Going to Alaska May 27 and booked through Dreams Unlimited.
Wish we had something that special. :)

We have been investigating other companies to help us with these gift bags from other departure ports but we are not finding anyone we like or trust as much as Shirley from the Perfect Gift. We won't partner with just anyone!!
