We have been investigating other companies to help us with these gift bags from other departure ports but we are not finding anyone we like or trust as much as Shirley from the Perfect Gift. We won't partner with just anyone!!

I'll stop by PC and take them to Miami for my next sailing!

Unfortortunately taking others and getting them on the ship is a bit more complicated that you might think.

We were on the 5/5 Fantasy and got our DCL gift and our fabulous Dreams gift basket. Another great perk!

I booked direct through DCL (over 30 days ago) but the price is the same as when I booked and I haven't hit my pif date. Could i just cancel and rebook the cruise through DU and then get a OBC and gift basket?

I loved the gift basket that was waiting for me in my stateroom on the Dream Thursday! The items were so helpful and handy. The snacks were yummy also. Thanks so much DU!

I somehow missed seeing this thread before our trip. So, imagine my surprise when we opened our stateroom to find this beautiful gift on our bed. I automatically looked at DH and said, "You got me a gift basket?!?" He had to check the tag to see who it was from. Even though we didn't use everything in it on the cruise, every bit came home with us because we'll use it here. (Ex. We didn't have time to play cards, and we didn't need the extension cord.) It was a wonderful surprise!

Yes you can. You just need to make sure the price hasn't risen and/or a room you want is available. If I were you, I'd book the new ressie first and the cancel the other one.

In theory could I book the new one through a dreams and then cancel mine and have the ta then switch my reservation to my original cabin (assuming it doesn't get snatched up by someone else right away). Once the reservation is through a ta I have to go through them for any changes right? Can I still book online for excursions and check in?

I booked 2 previous cruises out of Port Canaveral with DU. But I never receive any gift basket

Thank you for all the kind words on the Gift Bags. I'm glad you all like them and you're finding the items useful.

Just to clarify - for now we are only able to put the DU gift bags in the staterooms of our clients on sailings that depart from Port Canaveral. Length of cruise doesn't matter - as long as the cruise departs from Port Canaveral Florida you will receive a Dreams Unlimited Travel gift bag.

We looked into placing our gift bags in the staterooms of our clients on sailings out of other ports that have a port-of-call/stop in Port Canaveral and Disney Cruise Line told us we couldn't do that. It has to do with the fact that Disney Cruise Line has much fewer shoreside staff working on a port-of-call day versus a day the ship departs the port and therefore we couldn't do it.
