I've always made my own reservations, and have ressies for BC for Nov. with a rate of $245.64 (DC discount). Because I was just curious, I checked with DU, and they quoted me a rate of $179.00 at the YC, about a $370 savings for 5 nights!!

I think it's probably a "control issue" , but I'm a little hesitant to put my "precious" vacation in the hands of someone else!

Can anyone give me their experiences with DU? Thanks! (I need to call them back today to confirm in order to keep this ressie)

Sounds good to me, I'd go for it. I have requested rates for resort rooms from DU in the past and have always been shocked at the high rate they quoted me. If they are able to quote you a rate better than what you were able to get, jump on it.

I have used DU for 2 DCL cruises, 2 trips to WDW and a Carnival cruise. They give great service, repsond to email promptly and keep checking back for better rates! I have nothing but praise for them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Did you use the discount code for your price? DU is most likely pricing using the code that came out in the end of July. You may receive the same price by calling and using the code. I think it is CKO. Limited rooms are available, so using DU may be the best idea if they have the room held for you.

I'm using DU for the 1st time for a trip in September. Jason has been VERY helpful, has made all my P/S and was in constant contact through e-mail until we got it all worked out. The price though them was the same as I could have gotten myself, but the service and advice is what has pleased me..... I say if they can get you an even better price, you will be happy with all the service they provide. Go for it...

I went through DU and had Beth and she was great!
I don't know what you mean about giving up control. She made PS's that I requested and did fill out an itinerary for us, but I didn't really use it. But I liked the discounts and the help she provided everytime I had questions.

I tend to be a control freak and have planned many Disney vacations. I finally tried DU and I love it! Sometimes I feel like a nuisance because I change my plans quite often, just like I would if I was doing it myself. They don't seem to mind. I save a lot in long distance phone calls too! My agent is Wendy. I very highly recommend Dreams Unlimited. Let me know what you think if you decide to use them.

Love DU!! We are on our second trip with them... Tammy is AWESOME ~ I try to tell her as often as I can!! We also currently have a cruise booked with them... I understand how you feel though but for $370 I would make the plunge!

We've used DU for 2 Disney cruises and our 2002 Christmas at WDW. I couldn't be more pleased with their services and staff. They are extremely responsive to my emails and I have never had a question that they weren't well versed on -- superior service! Without a doubt, using them would be so well worth the $370 savings!!!

Hi, This is our first trip w/DU and Dagny has been great. I'm w/Montessori changed plans quite a few times, but was never made to feel uncomfortable. The final intineary is great!

Just want to join the line to praise about DU.

I am currently planning my honeymoon trip in October and I have been doing it by myself since March this year. I started doing by myself because I want to be "in control".

However, I finally gave in and transfered my res to DU. My agent is Rob and he has been such a great asset to me in terms of planning this trip. I am also a control freak, but I don't feel that Rob is controlling me in terms of the planning. He is only "helping" me to make the phone calls and give me advice on where to go and see. I still have the total control in what I want from the trip.

So, you won't regret it!

Here's another tootin' the horn for Dreams!! I used them in 2001 for the trip DH and I took in May and Cathy was OUTSTANDING!!! I will be using them and Cathy again for our May trip next year. I'm waiting til about December to send my quote in as I know then is when I'll have the money....great TIPS for that month!!

Another very satisfied DU customer here!! I booked our DCL cruise last year thorugh them and my consultant Michelle was absolutely fabulous , I even got a surprise from DCL because she mentioned it was my birthday, I will use them again in a heartbeat!

Which Cathy did you have? We JUST started working with Cathy Miller this last week and so far so good. Cathy McConnell (CathyCanada) did my quote by email since my computer was having an attitude problem and I couldn't fill out the form online! Super service!!!!!
