Does anyone have any inside info on whether or not Dreams will still be running this winter season? The brochure only states that it will run daily until September - after that is it going to become a non daily (or not at all :worried: ) event?

Thanks

It's been rumoured that it will continue after September from what I have read elsewhere but maybe not daily. It sounds like it has been hugely popular so it is doubtful they will stop it anytime soon.
Looking forward to seeing it for myself!

They do this every year. It will remain simply because it a lot of time and money has been invested plus the designer had already planned on adding/changing scenes to fir the seasons. I would imagine it will still be daily for this year.

Yeah they said the same thing last year and then at some point later in the year they then announced it would be a christmas-themed dreams show that would be shown during the winter season. I hope they do the same thing this yeah.

Although I've heard rumours that they might alter the christmas/winter dreams this year, which I hope is true. The winter version was lovely last year, but some things could have been improved on. So it'll be interesting what they do end up doing.

Our trip is in December so I pray dreams will still be on! Although I very much reckon that it will be :goodvibes

Dreams! will be running daily at park closing this winter, and there will be a special Christmas version running during the Christmas season this year.

They always leave it ambiguous in the brochure to put a sense of urgency into your mind so you make your booking earlier rather than later. It's one of the oldest marketing tricks in the book.

As for next year there is a rumour that the show may drop down to Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the low season in January and February, but this rumour was circulating last year and it still ran every night.

It is an expensive show to run on a daily basis, roughly 16,000 Euros per night but the show has the highest guest approval of any attraction in the park and because of this, and I can't see them stopping the daily performance anytime soon.

This type of show is the way forward for WDI with 'Once Upon a Dream launching recently at Tokyo Disneyland. The show uses the same projection technology as found in Paris but without the water screens as the castle in Tokyo does not have a moat.

With Walt Disney Parks and Resorts having more involvement with the day to day operations of DLP I can't imagine them allowing the park to close without the Dreams! show being presented daily.

I have just been told by someone that the booking line told them it was no longer showing after September. I'm hoping this is wrong as there are no other shows anymore .

I read what she said too. Take it with a pinch of salt. The same was said last year Emma and we still have Dreams :)
While I don't expect it to always be daily, there is no way this is going anywhere for years :-D

Thank you all for the reassuring information - and for the extra information Jonjo :) 16000 Euros! When I read that the fist time I though wow that's loads but then I guess that's only a euro or so for everyone in the park watching!

So presuming the show will run at park closing - is that 10pm in the winter or usually earlier?

Many thanks - I feel happier now that we haven't missed out on seeing this show :)

Depending on when you go, the park closure can be as early as 7pm.

Dreams! will be daily for sure.
