*Dreams Granted?

I think I read that they (the dream squad) are given a list (as in, "pick the first person to exit POTC at 2pm", etc. Or someting along those lines. So I don't think they're just looking for cute families or whatever strikes their fancy, LOL. I could be wrong. it's happened many times!

Alright just a wild idea to test the theory here. Maybe we should all go without kids on vacation and see what happens........

Actually I have been without my kids and I kinda felt guilty but it was a lot of fun. See I only said kinda guilty!

A couple of weeks ago I was waiting for the parade to start and and struck up a conversation with a cast member doing crowd control--very nice gal. She used to be on the dream squad and was telling me how they chose the winners. According to her, it was completely random. They (dream squad members) weren't allowed to wear watches or carry cell phones, to prevent them from contacting friends or family members and telling them where to be at what time in order to get a prize. They were also given very little notice before they were to award a prize (they only awarded a prize when they were told to by a supervisor).
