Sharing apps and dessert sounds like the perfect way to have a light TS meal. Maybe my friend and I will try that in July.

POFQ and POR are just beautiful. I think it's the most beautiful of the Mods.

It was perfect for us! Sharing was good.

Well, I for one thank you! I'm still so behind on everything and it's just getting worse! We've been really busy since we've home! I get sometime this week to get through everyones stuff!

Your POFQ and POR pictures are so beautiful!! We definitely have to stay there at some point for a few non-DVC days!

Saturday January 16.

We woke up bright and early again this morning. I even woke up before the alarm….again. Our morning getting ready was pretty uneventful and before we knew it we were on our way to Epcot where Jen was on a quest to be first in the turnstile again.

When we arrived there were many more cars there so we thought the cause was lost but that was not so! We arrived and Jen quickly found and empty turnstile and once again did her first at the turnstile dance.

WOOT! I was very excited to be able to do the dance again!!!!

Here is a picture of our magnet on the rental car.

We did get a couple of comments on the magnet...it was too cute and I have to tell you I just adored this car and not because of the XMSirius Broadway channel. I just loved the way it handled! I am thinking Prince P and I will be test driving one of these in our future!!

Our wait was nothing special, I did go to the bathroom and we spotted our friends from the turnstiles from the previous day at Hollywood Studios. We had the same sort of plan as yesterday. Jen would compete in the Soarin’ mad dash and I would follow behind doing my best not to be trampled and I’d meet her for a ride after she got our fastpasses.

When they let us into Epcot, Jen took off to be the first at the ropes and I moseyed along slowly stopping to meet Daisy. Here is one of the two photopass pictures I bought….for $15 each but that is beyond the point. I like how I look, so it was worth it to me. I had never met Daisy before and she was a doll.

I met up with Jen right up against the rope and the waiting began.

The characters were so much fun!! I enjoyed getting a glimpse of Goofy too!!!

The Soarin’ dash seems so much more civilized, I like the way they control it much better than Toy Story Mania. I wasn’t too far behind Jen and before we knew it we were in line for our first Soar together!

Jen asked for front row and we had a wonderful view for our first ride of the day. I adore Soarin’. It may be my favorite ride at WDW.

It is a fantastic ride and it never fails that we end up being highly amused throughout the ride LOL! I still wish I could buy the orange scent for my bathroom!

After our flight over California we took a spin on Living with the Land. I was on picture duty and I took way too many pictures. Jen was fixing her bandaids on her feet. I had gone with my asic anti chafe cream and then the powder in my shoes again and I was golden…so far.

After our relaxing little boat ride, it was time for breakfast.

Mmmmmmm!

Breakfast of Champions! Strawberry Shortcake. This was very, very good. I was quite impressed.

After breakfast, we got another set of Soarin’ fastpasses for later and redeemed our first set. We had another great ride and headed towards Spaceship Earth.

There was quite the line at Spaceship Earth but I think half of it was because people were not paying attention to where they were going and leaving big gaps. There was even a person in line with a stroller! A big no no, luckily the CM’s finally saw the person and took the stroller out of the line and parked it for them.

I think it was during this time that I saw quite a few things that I just shook my head at!!! I was very happy to get out of the line and onto the ride!

We had a good ride on Spaceship Earth and no, we did not become squished Space Earth pancakes! Our ride didn’t even stop.

We decided since it was close to 11 that we should head over to World Showcase. Jen stopped to take some photos of the fountain and I kept walking and who should I see around the fountain but the Queen of Hearts!

I was excited. There were only about three groups in line so I hopped in line just in time for the CM to say that I would be the last person. I was just hoping Jen would make it over in time. The group in front of me was waiting for someone too so as Jen rounded the corner they told me we could go next.

This is the point where I started to get grumpy….

Jen tried to cheer me up but it wasn’t going to happen. Why was I grumpy? It was sprinkling RAIN! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I seriously started having a minor panic attack as we walked towards Mexico. It was just sprinkles of rain but enough to throw me into a tizzy. We zipped through Mexico and I found a bench while Jen was taking pictures and talked to Marc. He helped get me out of my funky mood and told me not to worry about the rain or wet feet or anything else that had me worried.

I felt better after I spoke to him and decided to press on with a better attitude. Seconds after I hung up with him, it has stopped raining. Yayayaya!

I was very glad to see the sun come back out and the rain go away! We were due a very magical day at Epcot!!

We trekked our way towards China to meet a very special Princess!

I hate this picture, with the sprinkles of rain and humidity my hair was CRAZY! I needed to fix this immediately. What is a girl to do?? Also, this is where I realized that Disney people like to take your picture from a lower angle, well for this pooh sized girl that is NOT flattering at all. UGH. I wonder why they do that, they hold the camera almost at waist height!

I loved meeting Mulan, but you are right my hair was driving me crazy! I know it was the humidity and rain's fault but still....I needed a quick hair fix...ASAP!

We kept moving on, neither of us happy with our hair.

I love this picture too!! Phillip told me yesterday I needed to change my profile picture on FB NOW! So this one is up there...love it!

What did we find at the outpost?? Pink Leopard print Mickey Ears!!

That is how you solve a bad hair day!

What a pratically perfect solution! I'm trying to decide if I can get away with wearing them to work soon LOL!

So we bought them, both happier with our crazy hair and trekked on in World Showcase.

Great character pictures. I've only ever seen the Queen of Hearts at MNSSHP. The one we saw was a great character!!

Sorry you got in a funk Leslie but I'm glad it was very short lived. The rain can do that to me too!
I simply love that picture of you girls with the Queen of hearts and Jen the picture of you playing the drums is priceless!

The pink leopard ears were the perfect fix to the humidity hair and simply adorable. I think you should wear them whenever possible!

We were nervous about the rain that day too, but it only sprinkled briefly. We went from listening to a weather forecast of 80% chance of rain with possible hail and tornado warnings to getting in reality a few sprinkles and it never rained!!!!



I was mucho happy about this!

Love the update! Can relate to the Epcot funk, our Epcot day was a totaly wash out. the rain came down hard and steady our WHOLE day. we were drowned rats! So glad it was only a few sprinkles, it must have known you were not having it!

Soarin is definitely my favorite ride in WDW. Thank goodness MeMom is so generous and lets us all ride her ride. And I agree, Jen, would love the scent in my house.

I loved this update girls and it was just in time!! I have been feeling in a funk lately about my weight lately but having a hard time getting motivated to do what I know I need to do.

First, this morning I decided to try on the Disney t-shirts I got myself for christmas (one of them is the same Minnie T you had on this day LL!). They "fit" and looked OK, but were just snug enough to not be super comfortable (does this make sense?) so I decided this is the motivation I need! Tonight we went out to dinner and I really debated about what to order, I knew what I should do but was struggling with what I wanted to do when I thought of that shirt. I decided I would rather have the calorie counter salmon dinner and have that t-shirt look and feel good in May. Yay me!

Then I come home and find this update and I see how good both of you look and I know how hard both of you have worked and that give me the encouragement to keep going!

I'm hoping tomorrow I will gather up the motivation to start working on the Wii fit since I know LL you have started on that!
